IM ALREADY TOO LATE. Happy belated birthday!!! Your account makes me smile all the time ok. Your fics give me fluffy feelings. You're my favorite person on this site and you are so so talented. So *hugs and virtually hands you cake* I hope you had a wonderful day full of shippy feelings:) And I'm excited to read more from you and FANGIRL over every post! You are so amazing, I wish I personally knew someone as amazing as you. <3
IT'S NEVER TOO LATE
Thank yoooou so much omg ;; YOU'RE SO SWEET and this is making me smile so much ahhhhh *all the hugs*
I'm working on a super long fic right now, so hopefully that'll be up soonish for fangirling purposes~ :3
I actually don't like pie very much :x and if I do, it's some kind of overly sweet thing like Oreo pie, ahaha
petition to make Oreos a fruit, then I'd be super healthy
68. Favorite Taylor Swift song?
...nor do I like Taylor Swift very much ^^; I think because they play her so often at work wtf
Though there's this one song of hers called 'Safe and Sound' that I really like. someone requested a fic based on it forever ago, and I haven't written said fic yet, but I listen to that song a lot because it's really pretty and I'm letting it inspire me~
92. Do you want to get married?
right now I'm thinking no, but I wouldn't completely discard the possibility. it just depends on if I ever do meet someone I'd want to spend forever with and someone that could put up with my lamery
it's weird, because I'm so meh about marriage in real life, but when it comes to my OTPs, I'm all PLEASE GET MARRIED AND BE HAPPY FOREVERRRR
Z, U, X: what would you do if final fantasy xiii had a movie coming out?(with the gang in the new world)
whoops, meant to answer this right after work but uh yeah ^^;
Z. How are you?
feeling a little better after how good the Teen Wolf season finale was ahhhhhh
what will I do while waiting for season five
besides immerse myself in Hoperai, that is
U. Where I want to be right now:
hanging out with bff aka soreon because that's usually where I want to be
either that or I want to be at Diagon Alley, because then I'd be eating butterbeer ice cream
X: What would you do if...
I would FREAK OUT at the inevitable gifs HAHA
I feel like if they ever did do more FFXIII stuff (besides novels), it'd have to be set during the Crystal Age, and not in the new world. They're supposed to be at peace there, and it apparently resembles our world, so what would this movie be about? them just hanging around eating dinner? which I personally wouldn't mind, but it'd make for a boring film haha
if they ever did do something, I bet it'd be more like a half hour narrative thing rather than a movie (like the Eternal Calm short that comes between FFX and X-2). maybe with Lightning thinking back on stuff and visiting everybody and making out with Hope, then it ends with Snow and Serah's wedding \o/
I'm just wondering did u play lightning returns on easy mode or normal? Also what is your opinion on LUMINA.
Easy mode, because I'm terrible at video games LOL. I couldn't even imagine playing it on normal mode the first time around, especially when it comes to the quest involving Caius and your health is constantly getting sucked away
figures that the lamest quest would involve something like that
as for Lumina, it took me awhile to warm up to her (at least before the game came out), but the more I played, the more I loved her. and then when you find out who she is I was just like ;LSDJF;WLIEJF;LIAWELFJ HELP FEELINGS THEY'RE ALL OVER AUUUUUUGH
If I met you in real life... I would give you a big hug, ask you about advice on writing, and FANGIRL ABOUT HOPELIGHT FOREVER. Oh and get some ice cream cause that's cool.
HUGS AND HOPELIGHT AND STUFF YES I approve of this plan 100%
I live pretty close by to an epic ice cream place, so hell yes :D cotton candy soft serve gimmie
Can I request a drabble where hope and lightning go to a carnival and he wins her a moogle doll?
It may have been silly, but one of Lightning’s favorite parts of summer was when the fair came to town. Honestly, the rides and booths looked a little dingy during the day, but at night, the colorful lights that lit up everything made things seem…magical, somehow.
And she knew that by Hope’s excitement, he totally agreed.
"C’mon, Light!" He grinned, grasping her hand and making a mad dash towards the rides. "We’ve gotta get on before the lines get long!"
"No chance of that," she muttered in reply, but it fell on deaf ears. Truth be told, it wasn’t that crowded, so there wasn’t much chance of getting stuck in a long line.
Still, she didn’t mention anything thing about that and just let him be excited. He was like a little kid, especially when it came to the roller coasters and haunted house. A smile crossed her lips when he slipped his arm around her shoulders while they rode through said haunted house, apparently thinking he needed to protect her from the ‘monsters’. Lightning seemed leaned against him, letting him think what he wanted.
"Too bad there’s nothing like a Tunnel of Luv here," he teased when they exited the ride.
"You’d make us use the rest of our tickets on it, I’m sure." She smiled, reaching for his hand and twining their fingers together.
Hope pretended to look offended, but it was hard to hide the excitement in his eyes. She couldn’t blame him. Lights from all the rides and booths were glittering all around them, and there was definitely a buzz of energy in the air that simple hadn’t been there outside the fairgrounds.
Then again, maybe the smell of fried food and cotton candy had something to do with it.
"What’d you want to do next?" Hope asked as they wandered around. "I’ll let you pick."
"I don’t know," Lightning admitted as she looked around. The Ferris wheel looked pretty tempting - and she inwardly smirked at the thought of getting stuck at the top - but so did everything else. Hmmm.
As they passed the midway games, her steps slowed a bit as something caught her eye. Hope, of course, looked around curiously, obviously wondering what she was staring at. “What is it?”
She gestured towards some of the prizes on display at the ring toss with a little smile. “They have stuffed Moogles,” she explained. “I haven’t seen those since I was a kid.”
"Yeah?"
"Yeah," she echoed. "I used to love Moogles, actually. I remember before my mother died, she’d tell me stories about them."
Hope squeezed her hand a bit, his eyes on her. “What kind of stories?”
She shrugged. “That they were really fairies or something, and they’d come and aid you during times of distress. People who believed they existed would say they could work some Moogle magic, but hardly anybody ever saw them because they lived secluded in a special forest you could only see during certain times of the day.”
"That’s…oddly specific," Hope replied with a chuckle.
"Yeah." Lightning smiled, but it faded to something a bit more wistful. "I actually had a Moogle doll when I was a child. I loved that thing." She shook her head a bit. "I think I gave it to Serah after our mother died. I told her that the Moogle magic would watch out for her."
"…But you didn’t have any watching out for you?"
"Not that I needed it."
"Of course not." Hope cocked his head a bit. "But even so…it couldn’t hurt, right?"
"Hope?" She raised an eyebrow when he suddenly grinned and tugged her towards the ring toss booth.
"Excuse me!" Hope asked the person running it, sounding rather excited. "What do I have to do to win one of those?" He pointed towards the stuffed Moogles.
“Catch a ring around a bottle at least three times," was the bored-sounding reply.
Hope smiled and slapped down enough money to cover a turn. "Some of those rings, please."
"Hope," Lightning hissed, tugging on his sleeve a little. "What are you doing? You know these games are always rigged."
"Can't hurt to try." He grinned, holding up the rings he'd just been handed. There were six of them. "Plus, I'm used to throwing around a boomerang, remember?"
On that last word, Hope tossed a ring towards the lines of bottles in front of him, mouth falling open when the ring simply clinked against the glass and disappeared somewhere in between.
Lightning rolled her eyes. "This isn't exactly a boomerang."
"Aw, c'mon. Have a little confidence in me."
"...Fine." She smiled. "But just a little."
That must have been enough, because when Hope flicked the next ring, it actually hooked around the neck of one of the bottles. "All right!" He grinned. "Just two more to go!"
To her utter surprise, he made the next one, too. However, he missed the next two after that until just one ring was left.
"You know..." She touched his arm. "It's okay if you don't make it. I think I can survive."
"I know. I just...I just thought it'd be nice for you, that's all." Hope gave her a little smile, turning the ring over and over in his hands. "How about a little extra luck for this last one?"
"How would I do that?"
"Like..." he murmured, leaning in, "...this."
Their lips met in a sweet, simple kiss. It last only a moment, but made Lightning smile nonetheless and she remained close to him.
...At least, until she heard a clink-clink noise and abruptly turned her head, mouth falling open in surprise as the last ring hooked around the neck of a glass bottle.
They both jumped when a loud ringing noise suddenly blasted out near them. "We have a winnerrrrrrrrrrr!" called the man running the booth, who still looked sort of bored, despite the fact that she was sure nobody had won something from him all night.
Hope grinning, kissing Lightning quickly again before saying which prize he wanted. "One of the stuffed Moogles, please."
When the Moogle was handed to him, Hope immediately turned and gave it to Lightning with a smile.
"See? Now both of us can watch out for you."
Lightning stared at the toy, recalling how comforted she'd felt as a child when she'd owned one. Truth be told, she did feel that way now, but it was from more than the Moogle itself - it was because it was from Hope.
She smiled, leaning up and meeting his lips sweetly. "Thank you." As silly as it was, she liked having a physical reminder of the joy Hope brought for her.
And as he grasped her free hand to tug her back towards the rides, she knew that their smiles and memories of this night would be the biggest joy of all.
