Messing around in open DM7 tuning
It's been a while since I posted anything here, huh?
A hybrid picking exercise gone horribly right.
I got into a groove with it and put some drums and some lead over top of it and I'm pretty satisfied. Came out kinda doomy, droney. I mean, the hybrid picking thing drones the A and then I doubled that droned A for the lead stuff too.
Now in Stereo.
I'm also working on what could loop as a bass line under this and this is maybe a layer of a new song or something, idk, my fingers hurt.
I don't know what the fuck I'm doing when it comes to mastering and really my mixing skills are primitive at best so here's uh what I've got, it's as complete as I can make it. It was a fun thing to record a completed track in less than a day, I'm nearing enough tracks for an EP, however all but this one need to be re-recorded, so look out for those. They've changed since the versions I've uploaded except for the track "Fire" which is a really shitty name.
Don't expect great names for my songs, but do expect that I've put a lot of hard work into these and think they're all pretty rad sounding.
Added some more layers, still really diggin that m7b5. Next step is to get a melody going.
I very rarely find myself using m7b5's.
