"...I'm okay," he wanted to reassure her, considering he knew he didn't have the best immune system and...was aware of how her father died. "Really, I'm not sick, I promise."

Yuki: "I know a little about it...But if Pride is something you wish to celebrate, would you like for me to cook something or bake a dessert, Yuki-kun?"

"Umm...I don't exactly celebrate it, like other people do. I know it's good to be happy and proud about it but..."

"...I don't want my mother to know." Seeing how she treated Ayame as a failure--despite how she already viewed him--he'd rather not give her another reason to abuse him.

"Tohru!" Kisa smiled happily, her hand immediately reaching out to grab hold of the older girl's sleeve. "Is Yuki with you today? Or is he busy with other things?"

Tohru deserved company always!

Ayame: "Yuki-kun is doing great! He seems a lot happier, especially in school. And he and Kyo-kun have been arguing a little less lately."

"Well that's quite the surprise...Arguing less?" Ayame idly twirled strands of hair around his finger, almost like he wanted to do something with it.

"I simply must tell Tori-san!"

"Oh, if it isn't sweet little Tohru~! I'm well, thank you! But! How is my dearest little brother~?"

"He doesn't have a phone, he hasn't been answering the landline or ignores Shigure whenever he tries to hand the phone to him. He ignores any and all letters I send to him--All I wish is to know how he fares."

Yuki: "Is there something you would like for dinner tomorrow? I'll go shopping for the ingredients after school." she asked with a smile.

"I wouldn't mind something simple like chicken katsu," Yuki smiled happily at the thought. "And actually, paired with a side of rice, it's usually always good."

Yuki: "I baked a strawberry pie with the strawberries you grew. I hope you like it, Yuki-kun!" She held up the freshly bakes pie on a wooden tray.

"That's why you asked to have them?" Yuki happily accepted the slice. Anything Tohru cooked was bound to taste fantastic.

...He was curious how strawberries he grew and cultivated would taste in a pie...
