Do you think the internet helps artists? What effect does this have on culture?

Yes, I strongly believe that the Internet has provided a massive platform for many different artists to share and display their work to the world. Not only that, but many startup companies also use the internet to really take their development to the next level, so it is not just a place for artists, but for creative individuals as a whole.

Due to the access of many different online communities, we are now able to share thoughts, feelings and ideas with many likeminded individuals all around the world. This in fact is becoming pivotal part of many societies and culture, as human to human interactions no longer exclusively take place in person, but they are also taking place online. To add to that, being able to share art breeds cultural relevance online, due to the ability to connect with others who like your art and are also from your city, but may not know you in person.

How do you use the internet creatively?

Since I was about 13 (I am 23 now) I have been able to share different creative endeavours of mine online. This stems from sharing photographs that I have taken, to new music that I am creating, to even making videos to post onto YouTube. I am a strong believer in these online communities, as they really hold precedence in how an artist shares their work. Not only that, but releasing any form of art is a big step for me, as my goal is for it not to be noticed by many, but for it to intrigued whoever comes across it.
