This morning I did something that was really hard but I don't regret at all. I left an online group chat that had taken a toll on my mental health. I wanted to stay bc I wanted to fit in so desperately with the group I had joined. I was willing to look past all the toxicity and bullying that was going on bc I thought maybe it'd get better. It didn't. I had tried to make a change for the better and was basically laughed at and told that my opinion didn't matter. I should've left then. To my future self and everyone reading this: don't allow yourself to be in toxic situations with negative and hurtful people just bc you want to make friends or feel included. Don't look past bad things that people do bc you want them to accept you. Don't let people make you feel like you have to be someone else to be good enough. Yeah you're not perfect and you have things you need to work on. That doesn't mean you're not good enough. If people can't accept you where you're at and bully you and others for the fun of it, by all means, leave. It's okay to let go. It's okay to say "I'm not going to put up with this any longer." You deserve better and that's a damn fact.
YA Writer’s Group?

Managing Online Groups
Ministry is more decentralized than ever. That’s not necessarily a bad thing. But, many of the things you typically count on to monitor the health and activity of small groups aren’t functioning at their optimal level.
