Announcement of winners of "FILMANIA" 2021 Online Short Film Competition organized by IIMT Group of colleges Greater noida.The Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, IIMT College of Management, Greater Noida, on Saturday announced the winners of the online "FILMANIA" 2021 competition.

It received over 100 short and documentary film entries from across the country. Writer  MR. Peenaj Tyagi was the chief guest of the award ceremony.Dr. Abhina Baksi Bhatnagar, Director, College of Management and Dr. Anil Nigam, Dean, Department of Journalism and Mass Communication were the members of the jury team.Gupta's Lust and Life was judged first position for theme, picture quality and composition. Srihari's film Mask Away from Jain University, Bangalore got the second position.

It's difficult for an up-to-date news outlet like The New York Times to deliver content based on past moments in history. However, the paper might serve fresh audiences with its new online-only documentary series. 

The New York Times proves that timeliness for features isn't as important when on the internet. Physical newspapers and live radio and television newscasts don't often allow for coverage of past events, as news outlets must stay as current as possible to remain financially competitive.

These new documentaries not only shed light on history, but are also written to show certain historical moments within the context of today. The New York Times is presenting history in a new way that seems relatable to our current lives in an approach that will appeal to historians as well as news buffs.
