Why Does CONTROLLING Your Images Online Matter?
As a Product Manager my daily challenge is to keep websites up to date.
One of my big challenges is getting new photographs displayed on my base and associate websites as quickly as possible. The speed at which the task can be achieved depends on getting the controllers of the associate websites to co-operate. And that is not always easy as they are so often tied-up doing other things. It can be a frustrating process and even more so when I feel any delay at all potentially affects business.

Firstly, I can log in from anywhere that there is an Internet connection using just my smart phone or tablet. This is particularly helpful when traveling for business. From anywhere, I can upload images which will simultaneously update on my website and on associate websites. I can replace outdated images and upload new images right from the work site that I am visiting at the time. Customers are incredibly impressed by such speed and efficiency. I can be out on site and take a photo and back in their office just a few minutes later show them the photo on our website. They are amazed. Demonstrating efficiency like that breeds confidence in our company's ability to deliver.
Another advantage is that I can chose to copyright protect a photo and switch on and off those controls as needed. It means that those images I have chosen to protect ,cannot be downloaded and used.It's an extremely useful feature as there are often images I don' want to be used by others.
Timing is everything and my team can prepare updates and images so that I can make the final decision on when they actually get displayed.
