I bought two of these recently, in Ultra Blue Wave and Laguna Green Ombre. Overall, they’re comfortable-ish.
I’m not too thrilled with what they call an empire silhouette. The “waist” seam sits about halfway up my bustline, even when I’m wearing a bra, which makes the skirt fall direct from the peak of my breasts, making me look about twice as large as I am (which is a feat, given that I’m about a size 22). Anastasia sums up my reaction to my reflection in this dress:
The waist seam is also a little itchy, even after washing, as the skirt is woven and the bodice is knit. But, since it’s all-cotton, it’s nice and cool and breathable, which is good in Arizona heat. Washing instructions say machine wash cold, then line-dry, with the skirt twisted to keep the crinkle texture. I think if you didn’t care about the crinkle texture, then it would be fine to tumble dry on low or medium. I just hung the dresses on a plastic hanger over the shower rod, with the skirts twisted and held together with a hairband. They dried fairly quick, which is a plus since I bought these primarily to use as swim cover-ups when we go on a cruise next month, and as summer approaches here.
The colors are bright and vibrant, and the patterns are nice.
Overall, I’d give the loungers four stars, because they’re well-made, and they’re pretty much what they say on the tin. It’s my fault for not picking up on “empire silhouette.” I would prefer a lower waistline or a drawstring to cinch the waist and hold the breasts above the waist seam, and pockets, but for around-the-house and around-the-pool, it’ll work fine.
