  it began dully , at first . the sonorous debut of mortar fire lobbed at the outer defenses of the palace , yuna ranging bewildered eyes at the source of it . council members frantically assumed necessary positions where yuna seemed a lost blot of color among the crowd , a guest of the king whom was struck unawares of the situation unfolding . however , she knew better than to panic . taking off at a jaunty sprint , she was soon to run into the prince himself , imploring gaze honed on the seemingly wayward prince .
