[text]: You were yelling at the cops across the street saying they were at the wrong party
[text]: Well, come on-- our party was way better and rowdier than that lame one across the street. We earned that noise complaint, goddammit!
Paralyzed
2. Our muses were in a horrible car crash, while mine’s buried under the wreck yours crawls to the street trying to get help when they hear my muse screaming in excruciating pain.
As always, he was sitting in the passenger seat while his captain drove. One second of looking away from the road allowed another car, driving the wrong way, to begin driving quickly towards them. Looking back at the road, they could see the car for a millisecond before they were involved with a head-on collision.
The front of the car folded in on itself much like an accordion before their car flipped over and the roof crushed in on itself. Spock extended an arm to protect Jim from the crash, feeling his radius break in two as he protected his captain’s head from the roof.
He urged the Captain to go search for assistance, knowing that Jim could escape the crushed car while Spock could not. Once he was left alone in the wrecked vehicle, he felt the car begin to sink further down, trapping him even more and adding extreme pressure to his back, almost to the point of breaking. A scream escaped his lips as he felt his neck begin to bend and pop, pushing his head forwards.
The Infinite Corridor // Spock and Kirk
Spock had been receiving communications all day from headquarters. There were changes-- anomalies occurring all throughout the galaxy that couldn't be explained. In some instances it was almost as if time were being turned back and in others it was being pushed forward. Staring at the screen and numbers intently brow furrowed in concentration Spock was almost at a loss. He'd never seen anything quite like this before. There were no noticeable signatures given off by whatever was causing all of this mess. It truly was concerning to the Vulcan. The more he watched the screen the more he realized that nothing was going to change. He needed to scan space. Check for something-- anything he missed. There had to be a logical explanation for all of it. There was always a logical explanation for all of it. Scanners had been set to scan space and to look for any type of fluctuations in gamma radiation. Though it hadn't picked up very much in terms of that there were other trace radioactive changes occurring throughout the quadrant. Something that Spock had in all honesty expected to see but, was surprised at the vastness of what it covered. Leaning closer to the the screen the first officer began to plot out the locations of each of the sweeps and where the changes were picked up. "Interesting" he commented more to himself. He was starting to see a pattern and if it indeed held up the anomalies that they were seeing were something that needed to be taken care of and not ignored. Just as he'd expected there was a desolate planet where he believed all of these abnormalities were originating from. Spinning in his chair Spock looked at the captain from his station. "Captain I do believe that I have located the origin of these rifts. However, the planet from all reports appears to be desolate. I would recommend going to the surface and researching. It is possible that we will be able to pinpoint the source and using proper procedure deal with it appropriately." onlyspaceisthelimit
Who are your top three favorite fictional characters and why?
{{ Okay-- This is fairly easy to answer. 1. Spock- My dad and I used to watch Star Trek and he used to always tease me because even as a child I was always very much a science and logic kind of kid. He used to tell me that I was his little Spock because I even then was not an overly emotional person. That has carried over. Now-- He's been gone two years and I miss him like mad but, every time I think about Spock and Star Trek I cannot help but smile. 2. Dean Winchester- Lemme tell you a little story about this guy. I have been RPing him for god almost three years now. I can write him in my sleep. But, there is something about his character that just resonates with me. He stands for the things that I wish I could be. He is inherently a good person. He wants his family to be safe and will do whatever he can to protect them regardless of the impact on his own life. I don't know that I could express how much I adore this character. 3. Ponyboy Curtis/Dallas Winston ( I cannot pick just one )- Because if you have not read The Outsiders you should. It is the ultimate story of being a teenager and just not fitting in. Being that diamond in the rough. Ponyboy-- man that kid just got me through my teenage years. I remember when I had to read the book for school I didn't want to and just revolted against it. It was my mom-- she's the one that said "Give it a chance Liz. You'll like it." To this day I own a copy of it. It is still one of my favorite books and along with Catcher in the Rye probably changed my life as a teenager. Dallas was just everything you wanted to hate but god he was awesome. Ponyboy was so good and stuck in such a bad spot. The fact that S.E. Hinton wrote the book when she was 16 makes it even more amazing. Okay sorry this was such a long ass answer. I apologize. I'm so passionate about these characters. }}

Spock often became so absorbed in his studying that he shut out all other sounds and alerts -- often literally, by turning off every receiver in his padd. Perhaps it was for that reason that he failed to notice the other cadets in the library leaving in flocks. Positioned as he was at the study desk furthest from the door, it seemed no one had seen him or found reason to tell him of the imminent snow storm and subsequent warnings for all cadets to return to their dorms to wait it out.
It was only when the lights flickered out -- whether due to the power cutting out or the last employee leaving wasn't certain -- that Spock looked up, a frown drawing his eyebrows together. The library was not set to close for another four hours; the lights should not be turning off now and it shouldn't be so quiet. Aven a library could not be completely silent and the signs of life -- soft turn of pages, footsteps, coughs -- were all absent.
Clearly something was going on, and it wasn't good.

Rude Awakenings -[Closed RP]-
Freezing cold air was what greeted him, and flashes of consciousness were finally streaking through his head as he gasped. Hand slamming against the cold metal and glass of his cryotube. Lights were flickering on and off inside the tube’s structure, and he felt as if he were suffocating. Lungs were burning, and it was a hell for the augment all over again. Finally, with a few struggling slams of his fist against the inner workings of the tube - it cracked open, and he was able to sit upright. Panting hard as his eyes adjusted, having to slam them shut when his head started to swim in a wave of dizziness.
Questions were buzzing through his pulsing head, and his greatest concern over all - when his senses slowly formulated a coherent thought. The question of his crew - And a memory flashed through his mind at that. A searing sensation of fire, and crackle of explosions, had him jerking from the horrible memory. Reliving their deaths for the third time, and he felt he was going to be sick. But there was then another memory of him being able to get a whisper from the doctor who had taken his blood. A murmur that they were all indeed alive, and a silent tear had trailed out from his closed eyes at that -- uncaring for displaying his tired emotions in front of that old country doctor… And in such a vulnerable state that he had been in, no less.
Coming back to the present, the augment now glanced around the darkness - Finding no trace of any of his crew, and more questions were plaguing his mind as he scrambled to find something to wear. Pushing himself away from the cryotube, an invisible umbilical cord wanting him to forever stay attached to this entrapment - But he willed it away, and shook off the lingering sleepiness. My time… has come again… And I shall find you… His thoughts pushing forth as he soon found spare clothes from a closet, and as soon as he was out into the open air - after sneaking about the hallways of this private facility - His eyes were set on a new goal. Grabbing up a coat from the nearest store, having hacked into the closed systems with a little thought and wiring…
Now, he was making his way off to where his instincts were setting him towards. Something was clinging to his mind, and it was a strange sensation - As if he were feeling another’s conscious - But how?... His brows furrowing slightly, and his boots were clacking on the polished floor of this near-desolate street. Finding that he was still in the city where he had fallen, and seeing all of the reconstruction was underway - horrid memories flashing back into his head… Of the destruction he had caused, and of the pain at wanting to die with his people - in as much as a fiery explosion as they had… To only find that he had once again survived… A sort of curse he was going to live with for an eternity, it seemed. Though, he was curious as to what was going on with him, presently... Feeling astoundingly off, and coming at last to a pause in the comfort of a darkened alley - A bar across the street from where he had stopped.
