THE DREAM

We just found a new manager and we're so excited to sign with him.

I told him about this concept that I had "Only Talent" "But The Record Not The Bod". That I would go around doing naked promos to create a conversation about so many young women creating and Only Fans. As young as 12 years old think that that's how they're going to make their money. The flip side of it all was the corrupt, forcing artists to give their songs and recordings away on streaming platforms for pennies on the dollar in return. If you encourage people to buy a physical copies and your streams are low your penalized for it with social credibility.

Think about it. What other business do you go to school spend a s*** ton of money on your craft only have to give your product away for free? It's Ludacris and disgusting.

That manager said it was stupid.

He called me names. He shamed me.

That manager told me it would never work.

I nicely said. "Goodbye" 👋🏿

So...

I started this campaign.

It took off.

My bandmate joined me.

We got banned from TikTok.

All for trying to disrupt what's going on in the world and bring it to your attention.

By the record. Support so much more than a song. It takes serious balls to do these promos this is out of my comfort zone. I grew up Catholic. This is weird but it's working.

That manager? I kind of wish I could show him the hundreds of articles and cover features on major magazines that have covered the story but what's the point? The real point is as I want young women to know they are so much more than their bodies. That's why I'm not getting paid to do this but I'm doing it from the heart.

I've loved this magazine my whole life. I don't know what's better to actual cover? Or the behind the scenes of this atrocious shot in the cold it was really fun funny edgy and once again Tammy, owner and operator of Live True Vintage in Old Hickory Tennessee was there with beyond a helping hand.

This woman is hysterical and has the best sense of humor in Outlook on life ever. Who else would let Rod and I come in and tear up her store rearranging it moving things... And then just tell us to go home and she would fix it in the morning.

Women supporting other women. Human beings seen a need to highlight things that are going on in the world and do something about it.

But The Record Not The Bod. Are you reading these articles or just seeing me acting like a clown? Read the articles. There's a definite message there about paying artists what they're worth and not just streaming things for free. What other business do you go to school for, trade school, college, invest, by year and basically go broke just to give away your art, or products for free? We're the only ones. And it's gross.

So support your artists while they're still alive. It doesn't take much. But a little goes a long way and contributes to a pot that's necessary for bands and artists to have sustainable lives. Afford healthcare, dental, retirement.

The other half of this is do you know what your 12-year-old daughter, niece, neighbor is thinking about? Many of them think they're opening and only fans. That's how they think they're going to make their money. College, no school, No trades no jobs... Just hang out in their bedroom and found some content. Shocking not really. That's why we're doing this. eo pay attention.
