Wasn’t the first time he got that. “Let me guess, you expected a mindless brute who destroys everything.” If it was his past self, she’d be right on the mark, but it wasn’t like he was completely free of that fate. Drax shrugged. “Well, you’re not far off. Comes with being called the Destroyer. I wouldn’t stick close to me if I were you.”

@onmyshlders​​ N - NAVIGATOR - what’s their sense of direction like? do they have a set path in life that they’re planning on following? what do they do if they’re knocked off course? (for Drax)

Spatially, he has a good sense of direction. Unless a place is really confusing, it’s hard for him to get lost. 

However, he lacks a set path in life. As a human he was just getting his life on track and settled with his family when Thanos killed him, and then he spent several decades in space following someone else’s orders, and then Moondragon scrambled his brains, and he did his stint watching Alf and being in the Infinity Watch, and now...now, finally, he has a chance to try and get his life back on track. Not just because he’s intelligent again, but he also isn’t wholly driven by the programming the Kronos brought him back to life with (see more here).

So right now his vague life path is...do something good and help his daughter. Quill has given him a chance to do something better by being part of the Guardians so he’s sticking to that for. As for knocked off course, well he has been several times, he finds his way back eventually. If anything, Drax is tenacious, and he’s very good at admitting his mistakes and trying to do better.

I’d be up for talking about it! I feel plotting is definitely needed so I can understand her verse better (her verse info mentions being antagonistic toward the guardians) and plus my drax is based on early comics, but it sounds very doable. 

It seems like they could be a muscle and brain type duo. Though Drax is pretty smart himself but I wouldn’t say he could hack anything (unless the hacking involved punching), he’s more battle smarts and strategy. I can’t guarantee he wouldn’t try to ‘dad’ her eventually though lol

That  was  meant  to  be  silent.    General  Kane  and  his  army  of  brutal  minions  would  be  sure  to  at  least  slap  her  if  they  knew  she  was   WEAK   .    Aiden  Kane  is  training  an  army  to  create  humanity’s  best.   Somehow,   even  in  Kristen’s  young,  trauma  riddled  brain -    she  knew  how  crazy  this  was.    How  vicious  it  was.

A  silence  follows  those  whispered  words.    Nobody  should  have  to  wonder  if  they  can  trust  someone.    Especially  trust  someone  to  keep  a  secret  so  they  wouldn’t  be  brutalized.    Kristen  craved  affection  and  softness  more  than  she  did  actual  sustenance  like  food  or  water.    Kristen’s  green  eyes  just  seemed  vibrant  in  the  dark  moonlight  filtering  through  the  window.   She  was  stiff,   but  she  allowed  it  to  happen.    Green  eyes  closed  again,   forehead  just  rests  on  Sol’s  shoulder.    At  least  this  is  the  reminder  that  humanity  isn’t  Cerberus.

                        It wasn’t usually her style to INVOLVE herself; drew too much attention where it wasn’t wanted. Azuka preferred the lowkey, low profile cloak and dagger tactics that kept her out of the spotlight.  But there were times, when a girl just needed to lend a hand. 

NOW just so happened to be one of them.  Azuka nodded, taking that as a queue to engage now that side’s had been picked.

                      Ducking into a twisting pivot to avoid a haymaker, the vixen maneuvered the guy’s arm behind his back in a cruel and quick crank. The creak and pop of tendons being stressed right up to their limits was drowned out by a muffled cry when her other hand reached around from behind to compromise his trachea. 

                      “I would like this over with quickly.” She growled next to his ear.
