Am I the only one who is sure that the scene with Agent McCall and his little lackey leaving the Sheriff's office and Papa Stilinski slamming the door means that even though he closed that case, he's still not off the hook?
I mean--- they were carrying out more boxes. It's still their property--- he's still on the way to getting impeached.
Let's go back to the reason why Agent McCall is even in Beacon Hills right now.
Under read more because long.
The FBI was finally sent in to figure out what's going on and why cases aren't being solved. Agent McCall, unfortunately, was one of those agents sent. If it was his decision or theirs--- that's not known as of yet. Soon enough though, something else happens. The Sheriff himself goes missing.
He interrogates Stiles, trying to see if he has ideas but none. Then Melissa is missing. Things are getting worse and the FBI is resorting to other means. With some research, they link the Argents to some probable cases--- in which during the talk with the three, the smoke grenade incident happens and that is the last we see of him until the ending montage with Scott closing the door back in his face.
Obviously, the Sheriff and Melissa have been found and that's a breather--- but this "serial killer" case is still not yet solved. Too much in unexplained and seeing that the Sheriff not only hasn't solved most recent cases, he's also been off---- and prior drinking issues, from an outside point looking in---- Agent McCall sees a problem and wants it fixed. It's nothing personal---- as far as we know--- but if this case is going to get solved, the FBI needs to know that the town's own lead is going to be efficient enough to actually help.
They are right--- Agent McCall currently knows nothing. He's not versed in the supernatural. He is acting as a federal agent who was brought in to fix an issue. The Sheriff's impeachment seems to be only step one--- as all of the Sheriff's files and things were to be sent to McCall for reasons unknown as of now.
I've said all of this to get to a point, I promise.---
He is NOT here to be a bad guy.
He is NOT here to make people scared of him.
He is NOT here to be liked.
He is NOT here to settle down.
And he is NOT here to fix his relationship with Scott or Melissa.
He is here to do his job--- which is to fix these problems and get Beacon Hills to a point where the FBI is no longer needed in town. Once this is done, it seems as if he will leave right afterward.
Scott and Melissa are secondary problems that he only does when he has the downtime to do so.
But first and foremost--- he is in Beacon Hills to do a job.

they really wouldn’t tho. it kind of seems like you’re trying to make this character a big bad and have every teenager in beacon hills afraid of him when over half of them are werewolves and the other half have faced worse than prison/juvie.
I'm being realistic in his actions---- he hasn't done a thing yet but from what we've seen in canon, he is getting things done--- aka, the impeachment process. I'm saying what he COULD do and things that COULD happen. That's it. And I'm sorry--- but Allison really would have gotten some cuffs on her arm or at LEAST reprimanded for what she's done.
It's okay that they are werewolves--- but the show just brought in another element to the mix. The federal agent--- yes, he's also Scott's father and that has a HUGE impact in what his character does. But think about how the Sheriff acted about all of these things when he didn't know--- he was angry. But he's also the one NOT to do something. Papa McCall is the one that would and that's being played up.
I'm not making him a big bad--- I'm playing who he is. A federal agent who's here to get things done and kick this town into gear. We don't know much yet--- I'm going off of what we've seen.
At any moment, he could have Allison Argent arrested for the stuff she pulled on him with the smoke grenade incident.
That was a legit assault against a federal agent.
It is only by the grace of god that she is not behind bars---
even if her dad could possibly bond her out.
Technically, if he really wanted to stretch--- Issac and Scott could be added to that, but they'd get out of it somehow. Maybe not Issac--- no living relatives or guardians. He'd end up in the foster care system until he's 21. #shot
Let's not add the plenty of fingerprints and things that could lead things back to any of the kids.
Yeah--- he could fuck some shit up if he really wanted to.
You can hate him.
You can despise him.
You can want him dead.
You can want him to bleed.
You can even want him to step on legos.
But there's only so far one can go with a federal agent.
Time for the realism. Scott and Melissa are probably the only two that can say whatever the hell they want to say to Kyle without risking repercussions. They /are/ his family and he owes them. Especially Scott.
But anyone else?
Walking on a thin strand here.
He's already threatening--- no, not threatening. Acting on getting the Sheriff impeached. He's doing his moves and making things happen.
No matter how strong you are.
No matter how fast or agile you are.
No matter how s u p e r n a t u r a l you are.
In the end-- he's the man of the law.
And he can and will lock your ass up faster than Melissa divorced him.
