I coined this term to describe how I feel in this human body of mine. Although I value my experiences with it, it can never fully reflect my being as it does not allow me to do the one thing I nature do as a polymorph (change between forms).
To my understanding, my being as a polymorph originates outside of this world and its existing universe. I originate from the limitless planes of Dungeons and Dragons, a dimension complete with numerous universes and timelines of its own.
This also ties into my primary form, which is a Gold Dragonne— a variant of Gold Dragon from my canon of D&D. Given its importance to my being, I realized that this is my place of origin. Thus, I decided to coin Ontoplanar.
I also chose the Transplutonian symbol for Ontoplanar as it was originally made to symbolize hypothetical planets and cosmic bodies beyond Pluto, thus beyond what we know. Felt fitting for this!
If you want to know more about ontoplanarity, specifically how and why I came to coin this label, you can read all about it via this post!
Lastly, Ontoplanar is an opt-in term. I coined this term to establish a better understanding of myself in terms of my nature and origin. I welcome anyone who feels that this describes them to use it if they see it, but if not, then no need to use the label if it’s what you prefer.
