Bumping into someone as a first impression seemed kinda lame... 

Unfortunately, that seemed to be the case here! One quick and almost too forceful bump that lead to glasses falling or flying?! He wasn’t sure! There was, however, a fumble on Jon’s part to catch the correct pair.. If he had his abilities he may have been able to catch both pairs and match them correctly... With his abilities blocked, however, he was only able to make a few weak attempts at grabbing the glasses in the air before dropping to his knees to clumsily grab the first pair he could reach-- 

❝Ah--?!❞

These weren’t his?! Be it the prescription he didn’t need or the feel of the frames on his nose, Jon just knew it. ❝My bad.. I think these are yours!❞ Time for a quick swap! Without waiting, he had already started swapping what were unassumingly his original frames with the ones he’d picked up with the stranger.. A silly smile formed on the boy’s face once the other’s glasses were back on their rightful nose.

❝There! Much better... Right?❞

Since we’re all doing it Well Sid will be the guy that starts the party being the corner, all emo getting progressively drunk and progressively clingy. If you’re on his “i like you list” expect sudden strong hugs and headlocks. He doesn’t know that many christmas traditions other than gathering the family and eating so he’ll probably stand under the mistletoe a few times on accident completely oblivious. He’ll completely suck at games though, so someone stop him from joining or he’ll lose everything lmao

This city was.. Too big. Only a few days in, one couldn’t expect someone as young as Jon to know his surroundings.. At least not without his powers!

❝Hey! Um... Can you help me out here? I’m a little lost.❞

It was a little frustrating.. But eventually he asked for help from a stranger.

What initially started as a kitty rescue mission had turned into something... Much more difficult. With his powers out of whack, Jon ended up climbing a tree in Sector 6 in order to try rescue a cat in that very tree. Unfortunately, things didn’t go as well as he hoped... A reach towards the feline lead to an unexpected swat to the hand---

Which lead to an unfortunate tumble out of the tree! Attempts to catch at the branch below him... Before eventually--

❝Whoa-- Ouch... Sorry!❞

It became a tumble that lead to a potentially awkward first encounter! Rather, it would likely lead to an unfortunate encounter for the both of them.

We’re definitely not in Metropolis anymore, Jon.

This was scary... But it wasn’t exactly a time to be scared. Sure, he was alone in a strange city with no powers-- Alright. Maybe he was a little scared. It wasn’t something that he’d openly admit to anyway.. Not that anyone would ask. So far, he’d just been shuffling through some of the busier areas of the city.

What sector was it again? 

Right. Sector 5. Jon was only reminded when he caught a whiff of some of the food stands nearby. Standing on his tip toes, he got a peek at some of the snacks.. Pizza. Hot dogs.. Not like mom’s cooking but his mouth was still watering. 

❝...❞

Disappointed, Jon eventually decided that any money he had should be saved for more important things. It’s just as he turned around to leave that he almost bumped into someone that seemed to be standing behind him in.. Line? ❝Oh- Sorry! Were you next?❞
