Who knew defeat could taste so sweet? For Leon, it did. The one and only trainer who ever defeated him gave him the hope back that he's not stagnant, that he's still got room to grow. He'd craved for this feeling. The feeling of what it was to be alive.

Despite his loss of Championship, he's still extremely popular and highly regarded. He's still got to wrangle fans, the media, brands and everything inbetween- all whilst juggling his own personal problems.

Only now he's instead the champion of the Battle Tower and the final boss, so to speak, of every trainer trying their luck there, as he tests their mettle against pre-curated teams of his at neither the apex of Leon's power nor the peak of his intensity- but he does it with heart and soul.
