18. What makes for a great roleplay partner in your opinion?

For me it’s someone that is understanding. I know that that seems kinda generic but honestly I would not be able to survive if I had a partner that didn’t allow me the space and freedom of doing other things or who didn’t understand that rping is not my biggest priority. I sometimes cannot find the energy or time to hop on and shoot out a reply but knowing that a partner is excited to write with me but understands that I can’t be at their beck and call is so comforting to me.

8. Does your muse get jealous easily?

Absolutely. He’s painfully insecure about himself in relationships despite any bravado and the slightest threat to that has him defensive and difficult. He’s been burned by two people in the past that he gave his heart to, and it’s left very substantial marks on him. He recognises that jealousy is an ugly emotion, but he can’t help it.

😶 - One of your favorite roleplaying experiences?

Definitely while roleplaying in that .hack// RP. There was another character who was dying in their muse’s IRL canon and so she gathered all those she had something to say to for a final goodbye. After it was all played out, the people involved (myself included) kept getting messages about how touching the gathering had been and how it had made them cry and stuff. Little did they know all the muns were actually just laughing our asses off at how corny everything was in a massive group chat on MSN Messenger having a fantastic time while our muses were breaking down in the RP, hahaha! It was great!!

Another time in the same RP I had my character heartbroken when she was led to an area with a throne where this same dying girl was sitting. My character was in love with her, so she began approaching the throne when the dying girl motioned for someone else -- their new lover, also led there by her -- to step out of the shadows and kissed them, looking into my character’s eyes the entire time. She knew how my character felt about her. And when it was all over, my character still went and knelt down at her feet because though she was broken by their kiss she was still utterly and entirely devoted to her. But the dying girl just stood up and left her there, after everything they had previously been through together.
