There’s plenty of ways that Kanna displays happiness, as well as what triggers such a feeling. One definite way to discern whether or not you’ve made Kanna happy is whether or not she has ever gifted you flowers. Ever since she was small she has given flowers as gifts, starting with dandelions and eventually moving onto more varieties of wild flowers. There isn’t much that needs to be done to make her happy as she is a child. uwu

Kanna suffers quite a bit from loneliness as a result of her father leaving her to grow up in the safety of the Deeprealms. She often longed for his presence and being alone for so long has truly affected her mental state. She often cries when she begins to feel lonely, even when she is not truly alone. In addition to this she often seeks validation out of others as a result of feeling attention-starved.

“I’m doing this to protect you.” She absolutely hates that line. While she accepts that she is a child and cannot live on her own under dangerous conditions, she has begun to associate that line with “I’m leaving you behind.”
