i have only watched like 30 seconds of it but this thing already pleases me and it looks like it's wonderfully filmed as well, which isn't always the case with live recordings!!!!

i found this version a few days ago as well (long live arte!) and i was especially amazed by emoke barath, since i had never heard her before. This version is a gem!

I discovered it a few months back when thefoodofloveismusic and I where talking about how hard it is to find the “perfect“ Stabat Mater recording and loved it immediately! Then I watched it again last week (arte!) and remembered how impressed I was by Emöke Barath. And Stutzmann’s conducting is so subtile yet very powerful. Glad you like it, too!
