That's great because for a long time I kind of wished I had brown eyes? I just think they're more prominent and striking and I have a major weakness for guys with them <3 But lately I've been liking my eye color so it's okay :')

What did you use to make the mold for the gem? Any specific resin you used?

Haha, funny you ask, 'cause I saw your post on Facebook about resin casting a while back and went out and got the same two-part mold putty stuff from Michael's that you mentioned. It worked pretty well (other than a couple failed moldings, it's kinda hard to tell if you've got it perfectly surrounding the piece or not). So, thanks for that post! The resin's just your standard clear polyester casting resin, also from Michael's.

Oh yeah, also I made the piece from wood with the belt sander; tried hand-making it out of clay at first but oh man I sorely overestimated my ability to make geometric shapes not incredibly lumpy. Here's a picture of the piece and the mold. (Got a bit of leftover resin on the bottom there.)
