G-Foce arrives on the remote island of Kiryoku-shima to warn the residents that Godzilla is approaching. The local priestess, Ookii'Mune, insisted that the local god, Genkido-Jin, will protect the islanders from Godzilla.
Genkido-Jin was a homage to Daimajin, Daiei Film's samurai-era kaiju that is usually in statue form until its spirit is invoked and it wreaks vengeance on evildoers.
