I wore my black cat ears to work today. (Most people there don’t dress up for Halloween, so I’m too embarrassed to go all out with a costume...)

They handed out treat bags later and mine suitably had a black cat on it. Pretty sure my supervisor gave me that one on purpose.

1. Who said “I love you” first?

The one to say "I love you" first was Ellis! It sort of just slipped out one day when she was with him. Just as Malleus had to rejoin the rest of the Diasomnia group, Ellis was saying her goodbyes when she just said "I love you!" Malleus was a bit shocked but ended up responding with "I love you as well."

4. What are their favorite things to do together?

Ellis and Malleus’ favorite things to do together are taking long nighttime walks, reading together, and going out to see a play or a musical together!

8. What are some songs that apply to their relationship, in-universe or otherwise?

I actually have quite a few songs that I believe fit them! The songs are

I Hear a Symphony by Cody Fry (Especially the lyrics “I used to hear a simple song / That was until you came along / You took my broken melody / And now I hear a symphony” )

Beauty and the Beast (Reprise) by Broadway Cast of Beauty and the Beast (I know it's cheesy but it just applies to them so well!)

Spoilers, Teasers and Speculation

7:25 p.m. Now we're seeing a scene with Lady Mary chatting with whichever suitor isn't Tony. They're bantering about her choice. Will she choose sex or love?

So if Blake is arguing with Mary about choosing sex or love (probably not those exact words, lol), I deduce that means Mary loves Blake but is initially choosing Tony at the beginning of the season. I don't think Charles would argue with her about choosing Tony if he knew she really loved the guy. He would back down and leave the two of them to their life together. 

But if Charles knows Mary loves him, he won't give her up without a fight. He's a faithful chap, remember.

Dockery says Mary makes impulsive decisions and then realizes they were not the right ones. (Not her exact words.) And Ovenden says in another post that Charles has been "very busy" this season. I cannot imagine what would be keeping him very busy besides business with Mary.

Does she get engaged to Tony, realize she has made a mistake but figures she has to live with it in typical Mary fashion? Do she and Charles get constantly thrown together over Downton business, making her doubt her decision all the more?

Oooo!  I love speculation!

So I am now coming back to what my husband predicted at the end of S4: Bates didn't kill Greene. Gillingham did. And Charles will find this evidence (possibly with Anna's help--ooooo!) and bust up a wedding. Now whether or not that happens, we'll see, but daggum--wouldn't it make a great fic?!?!?!?!?! (Stares at chickwriter....)

Has Wally's friendship with Mac effected his life or views in any way?

"Showed me that brown and blue are apparently good together.” 

First off; I adore this bro-ship more than words could say, they are single handedly my favourite two assholes, yo. A relationship I never would have in a million years seen hanging over the horizon, oh the beauty of natural development is strong. 

Anyway. They might not have been friends for the longest of time but it did fire up quite quickly — it isn’t very often Wally can find someone to trust as much and as rapidly as he did in Mac, there are things that man knows that others close to him do not purely because of their similarities in character. 

Mac provides him with a friend (biffles) as you all know his track record with them isn’t great and so having someone who actually likes him and doesn’t just put up with/pretend to get along with him just for the sake of it, is just great. Mac, really gives him back that security of friendship he lost when he fell out with Butch.

Mac continuously encourages him to do things and stop beating himself up/being all moody and shit and truthfully, the reason why he finally got up and actually did what he wanted to do with himself is really down to Mac. The guy gives him a sense of perspective as well as a really fucking good friend.
