Chloe was lost in her own thoughts as she began to change out of her now soaking wet clothes. In the back of her mind she was aware that she had invited someone over, and had told them to just walk in, but she was thinking about other things. When she had texted those instructions to Cody, she hadn’t really anticipated being gone so long, nor the flash rainstorm that had caused her clothes to become so wet. She hated the way wet clothing stuck to her skin. So she had decided to change, it shoudn’t have taken her that long anyway.
But Chloe was Chloe and there was always something to distract her. By the time she got her jeans and shirt off, she had to decide of her under clothes were too wet too, then she just got distracted by her reflection. Yet again her brain tried to decide if she really was “Pretty”. She never liked the answer she came up with. But that was what she was so preoccupied with when the door opened and someone else entered. That’s what made her miss the sound of their arrival. At first.
Thankfully, something triggered her attention just as her hand was reaching for the clasp of her bra.
“Cody!" She flushed scarlet and grabbed the blanket off her bed. She didn’t know why she cared so much, it wasn’t like she was naked. Her underwear was no different than if she was in a swimsuit, though Chloe did think she’d feel rather exposed if she was standing in a swimsuit in front of him as well. "Oh my- I forgot that you were… it was raining and i just wanted to-"
She bit her lip. Her brain kept wondering how many girl’s he’d probably seen like this or with less, and she was sure she looked stupid, and just… not attractive. Not that it mattered anyway, she was just Silas’s sister now. That was the way it should be… It was for the best.
She swallowed, “Uh… wanna turn around so I can put some clothes on? I mean…. not that you want to watch cause you don’t I’m sure, but you probably shouldn’t cause i mean…yeah…” she bit her lip, “Yeah. Just… yeah.”
