where do you get your caps from ?

Well, in order to get the perfect cap, we usually cap the episode ourselves! Then we can sift through dozens of caps of the same moment to find just the right one. I’m really picky when it comes to looking at caps sites, so I generally avoid using those, except for using caps in graphics for my personal blog. But here are the few I check first:

Sonic Biro

The Medusa Cascade

Screencapped.net

GrandeCaps

Also if you’re looking for Amy Pond caps, karengillanfan has some pretty great quality ones. This may be true for other fan sites like whoismattsmith, but I’ve never really checked those

You can also find good ones by searching around livejournal, where you’ll probably have to download a .zip file of caps for the whole episode unless they link you to a gallery on another website

And don’t be afraid to google! Doctor Who is a really popular show so I’m sure there are plenty more great galleries out there :)
