Harry and Hermione haven't spoken in nearly a year.... He broke off contact when she and Ron announced their engagement... Ginny tried one more time to get him back into a relationship and he got so pissed-off he quit the Auror training program and took a position with The Gladiators Quidditch team in Rome... Back in Britain for a game with Puddlemere United, Harry runs into Hermione in a Pub where's she was having a Hen's night after a day of dress shopping and fittings just over three months from the wedding... Ginny and Molly weren't in attendance (author's choice on the reason.) Harry has a few drinks with the ladies and ends up in Hermione's bed.... Time jump a week before the wedding, Hermione gets told her symptoms are {not} pre-wedding nerves; but in fact she's three months pregnant... Our girl has to finally tell Ron marriage is a no go and then track down the love of her life and tell him he's gonna be a dad. Maybe call it: Harry Potter and the Forgotten Contraceptive Charm
