why do you use he for swap!kris?
thanegrim isn't kris
the way you write is just so incredibly appealing if you announced that you were doing a longer multi-chapter series I think id genuinely just throw up and scream out of joy, either way, im consuming ur snippets and leaving no crumbs!!!
ANON I HAVE INCREDIBLE NEWS FOR YOU (AGAIN) ABOUT THE NEXT FIC THATS ON MY LIST (ITS THE DARK META KNIGHT GETS INTO BULLSHIT SHENANIGANS SAGA)
Hai I just followed you on Artfight I love your characters!!! I did want to warn you that it's against Artfight rules to have DNIs for anything except for age ranges. It's a really really stupid rule so I'm not going to rat you out or anything and I doubt you'd get in trouble for it anytime soon I just wanted to warn you
im aware of the rules change, but the wording of the actual rule is really nebulous in how external links work so i wasn't sure if it would be considered breaking the rules or not. shrug, ill probably change it anyway just in case but yeah its just really annoying lol
What is that Deltarune swap au
In your story Cold Table there's a recurring gag where Battat corrects the plural term for his species as being "Pippins, not Pippinses." Kind of legendary characterization in humor, he's so nitpicky and confidently wrong. I'm very fond of your writing for him. <3
thank you so much anon! originally that joke stemmed from the chapter 5 preview with battat being really particular about names, which ended up playing into how i specifically choose to characterize him as being very rigid in his ways and constantly getting upset whenever someone says something incorrect about the things he's really obsessed with
i want people to be able to view this however they'd like despite what my personal answer would be if you asked me where i think this comes from. if you want to see battat as having ocpd, autism, or something similar, these are all good!! im glad people enjoy how i've chosen to write him and how his personality influences the narrative voice as well, he's very fun to write
It is a delight. I will risk my safety and overall well being to give it a single pat. Or a donut
the life of a previous human long ago has given you this boon. do not waste it.
Does Null eat food? If so, what is their favorite meal?
thank you for the question!
as a general rule of thumb, most dark matter entities don't live through physical substance. they feed off of negativity, which is pretty easy to cultivate if you know what you're doing - null's purpose, to be a "harbinger of fear", is essentially mass producing fear so that the entire colony has something to eat whenever they need it
paradoxically, though, null is a massive fat ass. it eats for FUN. and that's actually why it used to be considered such a menace. because dark matter doesn't need to eat physical things, null can never get full or tired of eating. irritate it enough and it can cripple an entire country by consuming all of your food, all of your livestock, even all of your raw crops, so long as it has the leeway to do so. unprepared civilizations were DEVESTATED by its existence, which allowed dark matter to persist as the dominant ruling force for so long until galacta knight showed up
but its got a massive sweet tooth, which made it pretty easy to ward away with offerings, so this didn't happen very frequently. a nice big chocolate bar is usually enough to tide it over for a while!
