can't wait to see what happens next....not much thoughts this time since everything is self explanatory...I'm hoping for the best but i love aki's character so much too and the parallels in this chapter and in the manga in general I love how sumiko does it I'm so glad we're seeing more i hope aki will be okay also ughh aya..i love her so much😓😓 mitsuki needed that reality check MITSUAYA WILL BE OKAY I KNOW IT TRUST ME!!!!!!!!!!! last panel she's holding her hand too i love this detail..there's hope they will do it together and find him mitsuaya is so unstoppable. their dynamic is really so perfect they match each other so well i love to see it they always make each other stronger even though they both have struggles🐈🩷🐈‍⬛

Aya Oosawa x Iconic Alternative Looks

Aside from the song references Sumiko sprinkles into the story, I absolutely love the looks she designs for all the characters. I especially love how she styles Aya (she may or may not be the reason I finally got the courage to get micro bangs…). It got me thinking of some really iconic looks that I would love to see the Aya in so im dumping them here :p

strawberry switchblade

I love when sumiko puts aya in funky patterns and big hair. Definitely think that the maximalist style that strawberry switchblade had would go well with her gyaru sensibilities.

Anything Kinderwhore

I love the intersection between grunge and traditionally feminine like babydoll dresses and stockings. I think seeing Aya in a kinderwhore look not only makes sense because it incorporates a lot of pieces that she is already styled in but the core of kinderwhore’s subversion of femininity matches up with the themes in Kinioto so well.

Haley William’s Most Recent Tour Looks

Haley has been one of my style icons since I discovered paramore as a kid (honestly you could probably tell if you open up one of my year books and look at the bright orange hair I had). Like I said before, her more recent looks with editorial makeup and maximalist patterns 100% screams Aya.

Honorable mentions: Chappell Roan’s NPR Tiny Desk and Coachella Weekend One looks

Although Chappell is a pop star, her looks are just so unapologetically queer and maximalist that it’s just so punk to me. It’s drag and it’s awesome! I loved when people would draw teen Aya in Chappell’s Tiny Desk outfit (I’m convinced Aya would absolutely serve in vintage Betsy Johnson), but I would love to see adult Aya in her Coachella look.
