I loved working on these but my brain and wrist were dying by the end so while I love some of my backgrounds others are a bit meh which I want to work on in the new year.
A bunch of Calbarri Brumby bush exploration images focused around Sirus and his Calbarri Brumbies, Bay stallion Omar and Blue Roan Tobiano mare Bubbles.
The other riders are members of the Four Seasons family joining Sirus for some trail rides out and about.
Some story art for Four Seasons Stable as new boarders arrive, one a dressage coach and one a teacher for the many kids.
The actual story for this arc is about 10,000 words long at the moment so not going to be posted on here.
The final of the 2024 Australian Warmblood Futurity events over on DeviantArt is finishing up today and has been just the best fun to participate in. Genuinely one of the most fun and relaxed groups in HARPG right now! ❤️
The final leg of the Futurity is set in the Sydney Botanical Gardens and being on a bit of a bird kick right now (always) I really wanted to include some bird action with Opal and Kalkara (Stormbird) this time. I am so happy with how everything turned out on both pieces and can't wait to do more over summer.

Set in the pink salt filled lake in Adelaide, Lake Bumbunga I have been challenging myself to work more on my backgrounds for these shows and I think my top one is definitely a step in the direction I want to focus with Opal and Kalkara set against a much more interesting backdrop.
