i love that out of both of them ronan is the responsible parent. like he's the one who makes opal go to bed, not eat shit, etc. and adam is the one allowing everything. adam is always like "how can i punish her for anything? how can i tell her what to do? she's ronan's. why would she even listen to me?" (she would absolutely listen to him).

+ he can't say no to opal because that's what he always heard from his parents before he stopped asking and the last thing he wants is to be like his parents
