Nr.245 Opel Blitz with coal engine.
This late war Opel Blitz is running on coal! In that stage of the war petrol was at a low in the Third Reich so the Jerry's had to improvise. Made an unlikely combination by putting a scratched Crying cow rocket installation in the back and towing a 2cm flak cannon.

A Opel Blitz fire truck from world war 2 or a little afterwards. Note the zeppelin hood ornament. It even has the black registration plate Westgermany had in the 1950s.
Nr.196 The Opel Blitz 3 ton truck.
Opel Blitz (Blitz being German for "lightning") was the name given to various light and middle-weight trucks built by the German Opel automobile manufacturer between 1930 and 1975.
The original logo for this truck, two stripes arranged loosely like a lightning symbol in the form of a horizontally stretched letter "Z", still appears in the current Opel logo.
The Blitz name was then applied to the British-made Bedford CF when it replaced the Blitz in certain markets. This model was meant to be discarded but I saved it from the dustbin!!
My progress so far with the 88 flak wagen, it is still in pre weathering fase and I am not quit sure how to go on with it…it don’t want to ruin the process so far.. The opel blitz maultier is also an ongoing project still needs some finishing but as an old Italeri kit it worked out kind of nice don’t you think?
