Sirius Black × Seventeen × Sixth Year × Gryffindor × Avan Jogia
His Story:
Growing up in a pureblood family with strong pureblood values and morals will never be an easy task for someone who believes in the exact opposite things. So naturally, this was never easy for Sirius Black either. He was born on November 3rd and grew up in London with his mother Walburga and his father Orion, and when he was two he got a little brother named Regulus. A little bugger if you ask Sirius, but apart from his cousin Andromeda, Regulus is the one in his family he tolerates the most.
From a very early age Sirius made it clear to the rest of his family what he thought about their pureblood elitism and their love towards the Dark Arts. He rejected it all, and to bother his family even more he tried to befriend some of the Muggle children who lived nearby. This soon stopped as his mother started to punish him for his actions (also for his rude and smart-ass comebacks). But Sirius didn’t stop showing his family how different from them he was. When he started his school years at Hogwarts he was sorted into Gryffindor, being the first Black family member to not end up in Slytherin. Sirius was, of course, very pleased and proud of this, but his parents were not. He spent his first summer vacation decorating his room with scarlet read and gold tapestry and even more Muggle posters, which he later referred to as his “masterpiece”.
It was also when he began at Hogwarts he got his first real friends. On the Hogwarts Express he met James Potter, a messy haired boy with glasses, and they instantly became best friends. On that same train ride he also met soon-to-be Slytherin Severus Snape and already then it was clear they would not get along. Being sorted into Gryffindor gained him some nasty comments from Slytherins, but Sirius had found a best friend in James and together they have given more than one green snake a lesson they won’t forget at first. Soon they got together with Remus Lupin and Peter Pettigrew and the four of them formed the Marauders. Later they would be known as the worst troublemakers the school has ever seen. Loyalty and friendship is also very important to Sirius so when they found out in second year that Remus is a werewolf they decided to help him with his “furry little problem”. In fifth year the three other Marauders became animagi and now spends every full moon running around with a werewolf.
It might be slightly wrong to say all four of the Marauders are popular at school, but Sirius is definitively one of those who are. Well known for his charm and good sense of humor he receives quite the attention from the ladies (he even has his own fan club which is run by Doris Purkiss) which he has never really complained about, but he has never been looking for anything serious.
