Elijah BARTLETT is thirty-four years old. He/him is a lawyer at Bradley and Simmons.

☆ PAST

The Bartlett Family came from humble beginnings. Elijah would hear stories while he grew up about his ancestors and how his grandparents were the first people in his family to make something of themselves when everything in the world was against them. It was difficult but their story was one of perseverance and drive and their family legend told Elijah that they overcame every obstacle put in their way with grace and dignity and they came out on top. This was the fairytale of life he’d grown up with his siblings hearing, believing. He truly did believe that, with a positive attitude, a good idea, and a strong work ethic, he could make something of himself and the world would open up to him. This belief was his first mistake.

He and his family were living in Atlanta when he and his siblings were in school. Elijah was the second born and his older brother was his role model and guide to all things cool when they were in high school together. Only two years separated the eldest Bartlett Brothers and they were as close as if they were twins. That’s why, the night when his brother was arrested on completely fabricated charges and brought into holding overnight, it hurt Elijah and had him panicked as though it were him in that jail cell. His mother taught them all not to talk back to police even if it was obvious what they were doing was wrong so Elijah swore to his brother that he’d get him out of this, he’d find a way.

That moment was what drew Elijah into law. As a high school junior he was forced to forget pick up basketball with his friends and school dances because he was researching and reading and doing everything he could to get his brother out of jail. Days turned into weeks  and weeks into months and, the week before their first trial (something that was hard enough to get on the calendar as it was), Elijah’s older brother, mentor, and role model, was mysteriously found dead in his cell. It tore the Bartlett family apart, especially his mother who told him it was useless– that everything Elijah had learned to help his brother was for nothing. But Elijah, crushed as he was, didn’t see it that way. He now had a calling.

Elijah was going to make sure nothing like this could ever happen to another American Family if there was anything he could say about it. He dedicated everything he had, every waking moment, to school. He got into a top college that led to a top law school that led to him making partner in a local law firm before he hit thirty years old. His new law firm was on the outskirts of Atlanta but that city hadn’t truly felt like home to Elijah since the death of his brother. He found a nice, quiet town nearby called Serenity that he decided to settle into. People didn’t look twice at him when he got out of his nice car, nor did they follow him around suspiciously in stores the way they did in most other cities. This was the first place he’d lived since his brother’s arrest that made him truly feel like he could settle down and relax.

☆ PRESENT

Elijah settled into Serenity exceptionally well. His career is thriving and he was by far the youngest partner in a law firm in the area. He’d earned himself the respect of his colleagues quickly which gave him some free time to get to know the town and the other people within its limits. He gets involved in town events when his schedule will allow and there are even a few he’d adjust his schedule to accommodate after nearly five years of living in the town. He has felt welcomed in by the locals and therefore is able to extend that welcoming grace to anyone new in town.

The one thing Elijah could easily admit to letting fall by the wayside now that he had a chance to catch his breath, was his personal life. He’d hustled so hard for so many years with one goal in mind. Relationships always seemed too frivolous to focus on so instead of holding onto anyone long enough to call it a relationship, Elijah took to casual hook ups and one night stands to which his charming nature lent itself generously. Finding someone who could understand his drive – how seriously he took his job and what it meant to him – while also providing love and support seemed to be too hard to come by so he gave up on the hunt before it truly ever started.

Meet Morph, a 20 year old NONSOC/GREASER who looks identical to Mitchell Hope...

Mitchell, aka Morph, got his nickname for the pure fact that he is neither a soc nor a greaser. He can certainly play both parts, though. No-one can really tell you where Morph came from, just that one day he popped up at Disney and never left. It never really seemed to affect anyone that he “morphed” from soc to greaser at any chance he felt like. Oddly enough, no-one questioned why some days he seemed to dress up as if he came from money and other days it was the very opposite. Why didn’t Morph pick a side? Because that would ruin the fun. His free spirited and adventurous ways have been the ticket to getting him the connections he’s needed to get on by in Disney. One such connection that turned into a close friendship is that of Jim Hawkins. Jim and Morph were friends almost instantly when they met at a local water tower party. Even though, he can occasionally get on Jim’s nerves and vice versa, Morph would never trade their friendship for anything in the world. Aside from hanging around his other close friend Ben, it’s a bit hard to pinpoint where Morph could be found. His ability to slip over the tracks and become one person over another makes it a bit hard to keep track of him.

BIO:

Cooper Anthony Barton, known to everyone as Coop, was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota but his family was moved to a farm in a very isolated spot in the minute town of Angle Inlet, Minnesota. His father is an agent of SHIELD and Avenger, Clint Barton better known as Hawkeye, and his mother, Laura, was once a school teacher before they went into isolation. Growing up Cooper always admired his father and his partner, Natasha Romanoff (who he affectionately calls Aunt Nat), because of their work with SHIELD. He enjoyed watching them spar and train with their weapons and he vowed that one day he would follow in their footsteps and join SHIELD. Like his father, Cooper was born deaf but when he was two years old his mother and father opted for him to have the cochlear implant surgery, allowing him to have the ability to hear. Though his father could have followed him, Clint chose not to have the surgery due to personal reasons, having already spent over 30 years deaf and not wanting that much of a drastic change in his routine and only wanting the best for his children.

Growing up mostly in isolation, Cooper didn’t have any friends that weren’t somehow involved with SHIELD. This caused him to become very close and protective of his siblings, Lila and Nathaniel. When Academy X opened it’s doors, Cooper became one of the first students and due to being homeschooled most of his life he was a bit overwhelmed at first. He made top marks in all of his classes, however when it came to social situations he tended to keep mostly to himself, only associating with his siblings, father and Natasha since he didn’t really know how to interact with others his age. He eventually broke out of his shell and though he’s still a bit shy at times, he really enjoys going to all the social functions the academy has to offer. 

Cooper graduated from Academy X with top marks and continued his education at the SHIELD portion of the academy where he is among one of the best in the class due to his extensive training from his father and Natasha before the opening of the academy during their down time. Cooper hopes to one day be as good of an agent as his father, not letting anything stop him from reaching his goals.

PERSONALITY: Cooper is a very determined and intelligent young man who will stop at nothing until he reaches a particular goal. He is very ambitious, knowing what he wants to do with his life. He can be stubborn at times and can be awkward and shy in social situations. Around those he feels comfortable with, he can be fun loving and kind. He is loyal to a fault, willing to do whatever he can for those he cares about. He is very protective over his younger siblings to the point of being overprotective and is a quick learner, making it easy for him to master a craft such as martial arts and weapons training. Cooper lacks interest in sexual and romantic relationships, feeling that romance and sex just aren’t that important to him thus identifying himself as asexual and aromantic.

RELATIONSHIPS: Clint Barton - Father - Cooper and Clint have always been close since they have a lot in common. He admires his father more than anyone in the world and he strives to be as good of a man and agent as him upon graduation. Growing up, his father taught him everything he knows. He would move mountains just to make him proud of him.

Natasha Romanoff - Aunt Figure - Cooper has known Natasha his whole life since she and his father had been partners at SHIELD for many years. Like with his father, Cooper admires Natasha and would often train with her before joining the academy. He thinks of her as an aunt and would literally do anything for her.

Lila and Nathaniel Barton - Siblings - Cooper is very close with is younger siblings. Growing up in isolation all they had was each other so because of this they are closer than most siblings are. Cooper is extremely protective of them to the point of being overprotective and would do anything in the world for them.

Francis Barton - Alternate Reality Half Brother - When Cooper first met Francis, he didn’t know what to make of him since he was the polar opposite of himself. Where Cooper was quiet and humble, Francis was outspoken and cocky. It took a while for him to accept that he was his older brother but eventually he warmed up to the idea and they became close, developing a close sibling bond. He would do anything for him.

PIETRO MAXIMOFF — a.k.a. QUICKSILVER — OPEN!

“ I’m freaking QUICKSILVER!!! And you can eat my freaking dust!   ”

Pietro is the oldest of the Maximoff twins by amazing 12 minutes, a fact he never lets his younger sister forget when convenient. They were born in Sokovia, one of the more or less forgotten places in this world, where disasters happen and no one notices until some big news outlet decides to make a scandal out of it.

That happened after a bombing, an intense one. Pietro’s introduction to one of the biggest names in current history was made by a mortar shell, the one that struck the apartment which housed his family. It killed his parents and stuck the twins under a bed for two days waiting for rescue, ten-year-old Pietro covering Wanda with his own body to make sure she was safe. It was a Stark mortar shell.

Orphans and full of despair, they were recruited by Hydra at a public protest, volunteering to their experiments in order to obtain whatever advantage they could in their new life. After Hydra took a huge hit, they decided to try their luck with Ultron, the other alternative to hit the man who destroyed their family once and for all.

When this last try proved to be an attack on mankind and not simply one man, brother and sister begrudgingly left Ultron to join the Avengers, still distrusting anything that had Stark involved. That did not change Pietro’s determination though, he sacrificed his life to save a small boy and Clint Barton’s life, only to be saved by Helen Cho’s work, the Cradle, a year after the events of Civil War. He has joined Captain America’s side since.

Abilities:

Superhuman speed, with the physiology to support and sustain his body at incredible speeds, including increased metabolism, stamina, and reflexes. This also awards him extreme force generation and improved thermal homeostasis.

Meet Barrel, a 18 year old Greaser who looks identical to Luke Pasqualino....

 Barrel’s nickname came from his ability to be a ‘barrel of laughs’, once you get to know him. He usually keeps quiet so it’s hard to notice him sometimes, especially when he hangs around his two other friends Shock and Lock. He wasn’t sure when he became part of the ‘Oogie Kids’ but what he did know was that he was officially in too deep. Even though he was close to both Shock and Lock, though admittedly he was closer to Lock, he had a big secret he kept hidden as much as possible. It was the very simple and yet complicated fact that he was in fact not a soc. He wasn’t sure how the mix up occurred just that it happened one day during a party when he first  met Lock, Shock, and Oogie but he also hasn’t made it a point to correct it. He knows three things could happen if he did: 1.) Oogie, even though he himself is a Greaser, would kill him. He would come off as a mole and he knows Oogie would do anything to get rid of a mole in his gang. 2.) He would more than likely loose his two close friends and that’s just not a risk he’s willing to take. and lastly 3.) He would anything in his power to keep between the Greasers and Socs. Don’t let the fact that he hangs out with hooligans fool you, Barrel has a heart of gold and the courage to match it. He keeps to himself but he’s ready to prank at any given second and most times he manages to get away with it. After all, who would blame the quiet kid?When Barrel isn’t out and about one can usually spot him working at the local gas station.

Dustin YOUNG is thirty-two years old. He/Him is employed as a traveling journalist at Metro Magazine. 

☆ PAST

Most families who could brag about being a part of the town’s history took every opportunity they had to brag about it. There was a certain clout that came along with being part of the fabric of the founding families that made Serenity what it is today. Dustin came from the rare family that appreciated their ties to the small town but had bigger ambitions than the town structure would accommodate. His mother, an accomplished and impressive politician herself, moved to Washington D.C. soon after giving birth to him. Dustin was afforded the top education opportunities and attended private schools throughout the year but he still spent every single summer with his aunt in Serenity. She was the only person in their family who still accepted him and his parents and the choices they’d made to move away and make something different for their lives. He liked the hustle and bustle of the city but there was something special and unique in Serenity that kept him looking forward to spending his summers there.

One of the biggest draws to Serenity for the summer was the longterm relationship he’d struck up with one of the locals, Carla Martinez. She was everything he could have dreamed up in a partner and he maintained his relationship with her even when they were long distance throughout most of high school. Unfortunately, their goals didn’t align the way they’d always thought they would and by senior year of high school, they’d decided to split up and go their separate ways. During his last week of his final summer in Serenity, Dustin was single while he attended the grand send-off party for the graduating seniors. He’d had more than his share to drink and he’d ended up in bed with Kasey Dewitt, a long-time rival of Clara and her friends Kate and Rylee. He thought nothing of the one night stand and as far as he knew, neither did Kasey.

Dustin went to college in San Fransisco and majored in journalism. It wasn’t a school or career his mother’s family was proud of but his parents encouraged him every step of the way. The most surprising aspect of his college life wasn’t the questionable degree he’d chosen to pour himself into though, it was the fact that he and Carla reunited and began dating again. He was positive that this couldn’t happen unless they were meant to be together but life seemed to continue to get in the way. They wanted to go in different directions after college so their relationship shifted into an on again, off again mode once again.

Dustin’s true passion was writing and he believed he could change the world with his words if he wrote about the right things. He worked his way up in Metro Magazine after he graduated from college and his pieces were known for being hard hitting with no holds barred. He was a journalist with integrity and he only reported the truth. Even if the truth hurt a powerful person or business, Dustin saw it as his responsibility to be honest and open on the page. There were periods in his life when he was sure all he needed to be happy was his drive to write and help the world but inevitably there was always something missing. Every so often he and Clara would try to make it work again but each time something seemed to be working against them. Their last argument, their last breakup, surrounded the fact that she wanted a family and children but he thought kids would weigh him down and compromise his ability to be the kind of journalist he wanted to be. He wanted her but he didn’t think he could give her everything she wanted and deserved do he pulled out of the race permanently. Dustin was sure Clara could find what she was looking for in someone else. Someone better.

Dustin’s career now has him traveling the world and reporting on the meaningful stories that he always wanted to cover. He’d left behind the calm and quiet life he was sure he’d have enjoyed in Serenity and was fully immersed in his dream of being a substantial journalist. His articles were featured in national newspapers, his byline was one that people respected. He was in Bangladesh reporting on the heinous working conditions of a factory that sold in bulk to the United States when he got the notification that told him Clara ad her friends were finally opening the spa they’d always talked about opening. He always knew she’d live her dreams when she was able to and now she was there to prove him right. He finished up on location and sent his story into his editor along with a request for time off to visit his home in Serenity.

Dustin travelled back to his aunt’s house in the small town with every intention of congratulating Clara and her friends on accomplishing their dream. He wanted to show his support after all this time feeling invested in the spa himself. He was sure his heart would always skip a beat when his eyes landed on Clara, that much was a given, but the palpitations he got when he saw Kasey Dewitt at the grand opening party, a child around the age one might be after their one and only hook up by her side, were darn near cause for concern. There was no telling whether or not the child was his but the thought that it was possible was enough to make him nervous the entire time he stayed in Serenity.

Meet Tramp, a 21 year old Greaser who looks identical to Chase Crawford....

Tramp’s life has always been anything but easy. He was born to a mother who is so addicted to drugs that she did them even while she was pregnant with him. His father might as well have married the bar because he was always there getting drunk, so needless to say that at a young age Tramp had to learn to fend for himself. Throughout his teenage years Tramp definitely made a name for himself on the streets whether it’s good or bad depends on what person you speak to, especially when it comes to the ladies. He’s been known to leave a trail of scorned hearts and not blink twice about it, but if you ask him it was never on purpose. His trouble understanding what commitment means mixed with his bad habit of falling for ‘crazy’ girls has made for some toxic relationships and one or two heartbreaks on his end. One of those of heartbreaks comes in the form of his best frienemy Peg. The two may not work out with their on again and off again relationship but they have a friendship made of gold. She’s been the only consistent thing in his life since he was a kid. They grew up together causing havoc in the streets and giving Mayor Mickey a headache. Up until Tramp met Lady, Peg had been the only female who would make him think twice about doing something incredibly stupid. His friendship with Lady has made for both a complicated one and an amazing one. For one when it comes to her his walls come completely down, something that hasn’t entirely happened with Peg yet, and he allows himself to be at his most vulnerable. Tamp, however, has held a secret from Lady that he knows would change everything. He was the reason her mother was killed in an accident. It was a mistake but it’s been a mistake that has haunted him ever since. Until the day he decides to tell her he has made sure to do anything in his power to keep her from finding out. However, when Tamp is not out causing shenanigans on the streets he is hard at work at his favorite place The Junkyard.
