Le firmware des caméras programmables en MicroPython OpenMV passe à la version 3.6.4. Cette nouvelle version permet d’atteindre la fréquence maximale de 150 FPS (images/secondes) annoncée le mois dernier. Le protocole RTSP est également pris en charge nativement par le firmware sans avoir besoin d’une librairie complémentaire.

L’équipe de développement d’OpenMV a profité du confinement pour apporter de (très) nombreuses améliorations au firmware. Anthony King | Vampire | FC: Ewan McGregor

“History is moving pretty quickly these days and the heroes and villains keep on changing parts.” 

The Past

Anthony has lived through it all. He has witnessed Kings rise and fall. He has seen civilizations start out from nothing only to be consume by war and famine. His life has spanned more centuries than he cares to recall. He was turned with the first wave of vampires and his restraint around the humans is legendary. Anthony has been alive so long that he now views the world with boredom, never able to find anything to spark his interest. He used to be able to live through everything, letting the emotions and the experiences wash over him but time and time again he had to keep starting over after losing the old friends he had made. Every time he started over, a piece of him was stripped away until he had nothing left to strip away causing him to become easily bored with the world around him.

Anthony continued to search for something, anything, to give him just a small flicker of feeling but he was never able to find what he was looking for. Still he carries on in a very analytical and logical manner, remaining polite and old-fashioned in all of his affairs. Despite this detached way of living, Anthony exudes power and dominance due to his age and experience which drives all of the women wild. It makes his job that much easier when it comes time to feed, able to pick his next meal with ease. Rarely do the women he takes to bed make it out alive.

Not much is known about Anthony, mainly due to the fact that he never divulges anything about his past life, keeping everything to himself and two or three vampires he has acquainted himself with over the centuries. He is a well-traveled man, versed in many different languages. His latest adventure took him to Italy and he has rather enjoyed the culture and music there but all of that is about to change. News of this disease in the United States has reached his ears right around the time one of his friends disappeared cutting his time in Italy short.

The Present

Anthony spent some time tracking his other friend, Gabriel Crawford, which brought him to the small town of Oakland. He wasn't entirely thrilled at staying in such a small town due to the fact that feeding on the locals would be difficult with how few there were to begin with but he would deal with that. He was trying to find Lillian, who had disappeared right around the time of the first outbreak of the disease. His loyalty to his friends was unparalleled and he knew that Gabriel shared at least that same value with him. Off to Oakland he went to recruit an old friend to find an old friend. This had been the most exciting thing to happen to him in over 100 years.

Old friends with Gabriel Crawford. Is looking for Evelyn's maker, Lillian. Isn't fond of the way Francesca Talley lives her vampiric life. Briefly met Reese Kohl, who reminds him of himself.

Danny Ford | Vampire | FC: Robert Sheehan

"You are afraid to die, and you’re afraid to live. What a way to exist."

The Past

Danny didn't have a perfect life but his mother did what she could to make sure her son was living a good life. His father walked out on them before Danny even had a chance to miss him. He didn't mind though, how do you miss someone you never knew. Danny loved his mother, though she spent most of her time working two jobs, he knew what she had sacrificed to take care of him and he appreciated it. As a single mother during the nineteen nineties living in Dublin, Ireland, it wasn't easy. 

Like ever teenager though, Danny went through a state of rebellion. He would go out to concerts, and parties, always drinking and usually doing drugs. The drugs were light, usually just a blunt that was being passed around by his friends. That was until he met Naomi was introduced to the exotic drug by the name of V.

Naomi was a young vampire who made her nature very clear to Danny but with the influence of compulsion and V, he honestly couldn't have cared. The two of them were lovers that thrived off only each other. It was when the two were running low on cash that Danny suggested bottling up the crimson liquid and selling it. Oh, and it sold, far to quickly for Naomi to keep up.

The vampiress managed to solve that problem though with a homeless man walking the street. She turned him and they used him as their personal vampire blood bag. When the man would be drained, they would simply pick up another homeless person as no one seemed to miss them. This plan worked for nearly a year before some vampire authorities figured out and were not pleased.

A stake to the heart for Naomi and a quick break of the neck for Danny. They figured the problem was solved, they didn't realize how much of Naomi's blood that Danny had in his system. The young man woke up in a shallow grave and after digging his way out he finished his transition. Ironically, his first victim turned out to be a homeless man sleeping underneath the bridge. 

Danny made his way back home but before he could even step through the door he heard the soft sobs of his mother. A letter had notified her that her son was dead. It was then that Danny vowed to change his ways.

The Present

After only about twenty years of being a vampire, Danny can still be considered a baby of his species. Ironically as a "baby vampire" he has remarkable self control. The young vampire only drinks from blood bags and the odd willing donor that come across him in bars. He still remains to be a fun loving guy, playful, but sometimes crude. Danny has lived in Oakland for nearly two years and quite enjoys it, especially the supernatural friendly club, Animal. However with the recent death of his acquaintance Liz, he is less inclined to stay. 

Connections:

Has managed to become somewhat friend with Anne Powell, as she was everything he was not while human. Knows of Olivia Le Mountain because of Anne.

└Biography

Maxwell Crimson has never admitted his full age but it’s said that he might be the first vampire to ever have walked the earth others think he was actually raised from hell and is death itself. It’s not true, like every other pureblood vampire Max has parents. No one has ever heard of them and no one ever will, considering Maxwell killed them both before his hundredth birthday. The stories are endless of the man who might be the oldest living (or undead) being on the earth. He’s had numerous different lives, all of them varying from poverty stricken to being a king. He’s a man of many secrets and even more mysteries and contradictions. Maxwell has always been a cruel and evil man on his best days, but there was a short period of time in his life where he wasn’t as bad as he usually was. It was when he met a pureblood woman named Elizabeth and it was the only time in his entire existence that he took a wife. His wife wasn’t a sweet and innocent woman, but to her family she was the perfect mother and the perfect wife, a perfect woman for Maxwell Crimson. His wife was a woman who people know the name of even to this day, she was the “Blood Countess” or better known as Elizabeth Bathory. The stories are only partially true, but Maxwell will never say which ones. The one thing he has vowed is to kill the man responsible for his wife’s death, Marco Morelli. Elizabeth may have killed his parents but in Maxwell’s mind they had it coming.

Together they had four children over the years, each being born centuries apart, with their last one only 19 years ago, four years before her death. Her death was something that rocked Maxwell’s life, they were supposed to live forever and now he stood alone with nothing but his empire and his children. This event turned the once happy (as he could be) Maxwell back into the cruel boy who murdered his parents in cold blood and never gave a second thought to anyone in his life. When it comes to his children he loves them dearly and hopes they will be the vampires he wants them to be, like himself and their mother. With the new unknown threat hitting their kind hard, Max knew it was time to do something for his family and his clan. The outside world was no longer safe and he wondered if that city older than him was still around from the last time he’d visited it. Sending some of his clan members before his arrival he made sure they felt it out and settled there before he brought the rest of them.

Though Maxwell is an elder vampire and clan leader of the Crimsons, he is also known widely as a mafia boss. He enjoys the way the mafia makes money, with sex, booze, guns, and drugs. This was of course something he had to get involved in, so he’s now brought it to Laten City. He’s determined to rule every place he enters and he figures the illegal route is the best way, as long as the enemy clan and the leaders of the other species don’t get in his way. Currently he owns a club called Crimson as a legal front, but off the radar he owns an escort agency, the only one in Latent City to be exact. Maxwell will do whatever he can to take over anything he can, even if it means getting his hands covered in blood from any species.
