OPEN STARTER
Where: The Vault
When: 2:30pm
With the curfew, The VAULT had suffered had suffered for exactly zero days financially. If you asked Diana Kelly, it was because she was an awesome bartender. She had overhauled the the branding of the place on social media, so that it reflected the place's origins which honestly worked nicely with the town's mandatory curfew. I mean... it was kinda' dark, considering the reasons for the towns' curfew, but Diana had remained steadfast in her belief that the residents would appreciate the irony.
Not everyone could get on board with Diana's methods, but those with a dark sense of humour seemed to enjoy the irony. Apparently, the booze swigging residents of Opulence did in fact enjoy the twisted comedy because the bar was booming.
Beaming with pride, as she surveyed the Vault's heaving custom, stood Diana Kelly - on a stool since she only stood at five feet and two inches - the Vault's newest employed bar stuff. Having snagged a job as assistant manager at the town's Motel, you could say that Diana had gotten a taste for power, and she certainly would encourage you to think so, but in reality, the plus sized brunette had gotten a thrill from helping her employers find success despite the restrictions. D
Diana was a brilliant woman - intelligent, business savy and realistic - but she didn't have a great history for keeping down a job. She had a temper, and almost impossibly high standards for colleagues, that made her a difficult person to work with. As such, when she found success in her job, she felt... weirdly validated.
As such, the fifty-five year old woman stood proud on her stool, draped in a clingy velvet dress, her auburn curls swept up in a high bun - contentedly ignoring waiting customers.
