A little Opera Cats announcement!
The story is a Phantom of the Opera adaptation set in the 1920s, starring cats in the main roles. While I finish the final edits, my sister @thegroovyfeline is working on the artwork and the website for the story.
If you'd like to be updated on all things Opera Cats, see process art, and more, be sure to follow our blog: @operacatsofficial

His mind muddled and his heart heavy, Harry remained where he sat, frustrated at what Clovis had refused to see—that a murder had taken place.
And Norb! Norb simply wanted to put all this behind him and move on rather than find out what really happened. Why didn't either cat want to delve deeper into this mystery?
Groovy's feeling better, so she was able to finish the artwork for the Overture:
I absolutely love how this turned out!
The last chapter is up on the website, and with that, we've finally reached the end of Opera Cats!
That being said, it's a very bittersweet moment for me. This story I've worked hard on for the last three years or so is complete. It's been an amazing experience sharing it with everyone, and I've learned a lot during the last year of uploading artwork and bits of story here and there. I'm currently starting a new project (it probably won't be finished for a long, long time!) and I can't wait to share that story, too.
Is Opera Cats 100% over? Of course not! I have some little doodles queued up, and Groovy still has amazing artwork to upload. One day I'd love to adapt Opera Cats as a series of YouTube shorts or something similar. As always, when new artwork is posted or if there's an exciting development to share, I'll make an announcement.
Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who has liked and/or reblogged anything Opera Cats. It all meant--and still means--so much to me. I'm grateful for all of your support!
A huge thank you to Groovy, for reading and editing Opera Cats, and for creating amazing artwork not only for the chapters, but for the website as well. I couldn't have done it without you!
Until next time...
Hazel-Jane
