My mom keeps telling my family members that they don't need to come to see my professional stage manager debut because "she's not actually in it" which is what she told them for the whole opera I fucking directed all by myself so I'm firing back with "everyone came to see La Boheme when I was just in the chorus and barely onstage, and I'm doing way more work for this one"

But now I actually have a line so I am technically in it (even if it's just shouting "Figaro!" from offstage) so her point is moot anyway
