A wonderful original program from the L'Opera-Comique Paris from 1906.
"Manon" by Jules Massenet.
The Manon sang the wife of the long-time director of the opera, Marguerite Carré, who is also the first Cio-Cio-San in Madama Butterfly in Paris and sung next to Caruso.
The other singers were also celebrities at the time. François Ruhlmann, the conductor of these performance , has conducted many first performances of operas.
