“I meant tomorrow,” she took his arm as it was offered. They would have a nice night home, and then tomorrow they could actually think about how they were going to move in together successfully. “I’m sure you want to fix the bed when we get home so it’s so tight you can bounce a coin off the sheets?” she teased as they left. Despite the rules and regulations, and how often he would be away she didn’t want him to change.
“The tube or taxi?” she asked as she could see it was raining. “You’ll have to clean out the higher shelves, with my luck I’ll fall down and you’ll find me with a broken neck,” she looked up at him.
At the street, he glanced over his shoulder to see if a car was coming, but right now it was rather quiet. With long steps he crossed the street, still with Ophelia on his arm. The rain didn't affect him at all; he was used to stand straight in the rain for longer periods, to crawl through the mud without seeing much.
"Tube is faster." No traffic, no waiting at red lights, no extra fees. It truly was a lot cheaper and less stressful. "Don't worry, you don't have to do move a finger. I'll do it myself."
