Try Something New
Be unique, and go for something out of the norm!
I have only had 5 aerial silk classes, and I love it. It was way out of my comfort zone and still is, but that’s not stopping me!
The first time I tried aerial silk I knew I wanted to keep going. It made me feel strong and beautiful at the same time, which goes hand in hand surprisingly often. I have felt my confidence boost, and a new drive to express myself in new ways.
Aerial silks was, and continues to be a challenging activity. Having never been a gymnast, dancer, or anything of the sort, I was surprised by how graceful it felt to simply climb to the top. I got extremely sore and quickly started noticing muscles I never realized I had. Just give me a couple more months and these pictures will start to get impressive!
You don’t have to do aerial silks, but I encourage you to look for ways to make being active fun!
Happy adventure hunting
