Here we go again with this whole "new zodiac sign" thing. I thought we were over this...
The Signs and Knights II:
Aries: A knight in armor made of glittering emerald chitin. Blades wielded in reverse, fighting with an alien grace.
Taurus: Towering knights decked in the hides of long-dead beasts. Colossal greatbows hewn from ancient oak trees heft arrows that could split a man in two.
Gemini: Proud knights, gilded chains worked into their helmets to resemble a lions mane. Their stature a demonstration of the wealth and power of their empress.
Cancer: A holy knight (of sorts). Their ceremonial hammer cocooned in spines, their armor blackened with soot.
Leo: A bodyguard. A legendary elite, now forgotten to the march of time. They wander the halls of the palace, now frozen and abandoned, searching for their young lord.
Virgo: Knights veiled in silk, every inch of their skin is covered. Their armor host to a hive of stinging insects. Long, thin, swords for piercing maille, the tip soaked in poison with intoxicating effects.
Libra: Sorcerer knights of a far western land. Pointed scarlet helmets and long barbed torches that function as halberd and a conduit for spells. Their armor jingles with medals and pendants covered in arcane scribbles.
Scorpio: A lonely knight in a thick cloak, illuminated only by the lantern they carry, light glinting off the silver spade in their other hand. They patrol the field of corpses, scanning for signs of movement.
Ophiuchus: Zealots of a forbidden faith. Slaves to their fervor, masks made from shed skin. Young, feeble wings stitched to their shoulder blades.
Sagittarius: Knights from an age of powder and shot. Sloped armor deflecting rounds as if they were blades. A shield on one arm, a revolver on the other.
Capricorn: A knight with heavily reinforced gauntlets. Forgoing weapons and shields for simply bashing opponents with their fists.
Aquarius: Trailblazers and pathfinders. Bows and axes double as weapons and survival tools. Old, dog eared books of spells, hand drawn maps folded into the pages. Searching for their lost brethren.
Pisces: Dancing knights. Flexible pikes used to vault over bulwarks. Bags and straps full of daggers and firebombs. Colorful domino masks a nod to their origins.
Why is everyone mean to opiuchus it just livin its best starry life damn

What do you think Ophiuchus magic power is
Well, it’s hard to say. Celestial Spirits tend to zigzag in how much their powers correlate with their actual starsigns, but they do tend to make some sense.
I mean, Sagittarius is an archer, obviously. Aquarius as the water maiden makes sense, too. Libra’s maybe the most farfetched, unless you want to connect balance with gravity, which… okay, I’ll buy it.
Less obviously, Virgo’s digging seems really random until you remember that Virgo’s element is Earth, and Loke’s light theme doesn’t have much to do with anything until you remember Leo’s ruling planet is the Sun.
But, from what I can tell Opiuchus doesn’t really have an element or a ruling planet, though some people like to assign the non-existant Saturn orbiting moon Chiron to it. And Chiron was, in Greek lore, extremely wise and competent with medicine.
Opiuchus also tends to have two signs associated with it: ⛎, but also sometimes the Rod of Asclepius, ALSO connected to healing and medicine. These connections are almost definitely why Opiuchus got turned into a cute nurse in that shitty Celestial Eclipse arc. I didn’t really watch that arc, but it seemed like the corrupted Celestial Spirits’ powers didn’t stray too far from the originals, so Opiuchus definitely has something to do with healing.
But Opiuchus is also a scary motherfucker, so I figure they ALSO have the opposite - plague, sickness, physical illnesses… I assume Opiuchus drains your energy and then eats you while you’re down, or possibly transfers your energy to it’s master or keeps it to buff itself. Or just makes you hellishly ill to the point of death.
Lovely gross stuff like that.
Hey! I'm an Opiuchus! Cool.
now that i found out my true horoscope is opiuchus, i feel so excluded in all the tumblr horoscope posts :(
Wait... Did she just say “Reckoning”? The F***?! That’s normally a big deal! Did they just spend their entire time before the session officially started just blowing up any meteors too big for it? Did they really head over to the battlefield just to make sure they didn’t screw up?!
Also, didn’t somepony say earlier that they already dealt with the Black King and Queen? If so then who killed the White King for his scepter to start the reckoning? What exactly is stopping them from finishing this session right now anyways? Are the denizens just saying “screw you, no universe for you till the newbies prove themselves”?
I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS!
Because nobody else is using the Inbox anyways.
