I enjoyed a little stroll during lunch break. Loved this wonderful view. This stone wall looked interesting to me. Half of it was made with sandstone and the other half basalt. My assumption was that it was originally a sandstone wall and the basalt was used more recently to fix the broken or weakened part. Why I think so? The gap between the stones is filled with concrete in the basalt section, but mud in the sandstone section. お昼休みにちょっと散策を楽しむ。ここから室戸岬を臨むこの眺めは以前から大好きで。💕 この石垣はちょっとオモシロイ。半分が砂岩で、半分がいわゆる鯨石と呼ばれる玄武岩。（クジラの身のように赤っぽく見えることから来た名前です。）たぶん、もともと砂岩ばかりの石垣だったのが、壊れたか何かで修復するのに玄武岩使ったのかな、と推測。なぜなら、砂岩の間の隙間は土かなにかで埋まってて、玄武岩の隙間はコンクリートで埋めてるので。

Yesterday we learned how to use this optical level? for measuring. It was kind of fun but after measuring here and there for a while on a slope, my legs and back got soooooo stiff. I was so tired when I got home. Gosh I’m getting old!!! LOL さて昨日は、このレベル？という機器を使っての測量を教わって、実際やりましたよ。私にとっては生まれて初めて。面白かったけど、坂道にこれを据えて中腰でしばらくやったら、足腰にキます。ｗｗ　家に帰ったらけっこうバテてました。年を感じるねーこういう時は実に。ｗｗ
