God. This week kind of sucked.
-So... Nana died on the 20th and I didn't get to see her after she went into the nursing home or ICU and her funeral was yesterday.
-About Wednesday, I had a breakdown at school (it had been building up slowly and I've had little ones, but this was the worst and the last straw had been my keyboarding teacher) and had to ask my French teacher if I could take a walk, found a bathroom, and cried for at least ten minutes. Then I went back to class and lied to my friends and told them I was fine and no, I hadn't been crying. The teacher just asked me to do something for her, or I had a headache.
-I've had the same shitty nightmare three times.
-And I didn't eat anything except some cream of wheat on Thursday then I slept from four in the afternoon to six in the morning and then didn't eat 'til after school Friday. I wasn't even hungry, but damn, I was dizzy.
But I said kind of because some things weren't so bad, you know?
I figure Nana had a nice, full life--she was 91 and had a full life and at least 100 friends and... it was done. Kind of like, like a gallon of milk or something. It'll only last for so long before you can't have it anymore, so drink it to the fullest and leave no regrets. Nana did that. There wasn't a drop of milk left, and she even added some chocolate syrup and that really yum Nesquick powder to liven it up, so now it's time to free up that space in the fridge for some other milk.
Besides, Nana is such an independent person (damn, was), I don't think she'd want to be stuck in a nursing home (which she wouldn't have been in if Barry--her son that's not my step-grandfather--hadn't had the power of attorney or something). And she went in her sleep... I think. And on her last day, she was joking around and laughing and asking one of her grandchildren (I think) if they could go out and get ice cream later. She freaking lovesd ice cream.
-So yeah. I for one am content with her life.
-And... I trimmed my hair a bit more so I can have legit bangs.
-I had my first tutoring session with this kid who is hilarious and is my friend (I tutored him. Just saying).
-I got a 98 on my Algebra midterm, a 99 on my science one (surprise!), a 94 and a 97 on my English one (two parts--writing and multiple choice respectively), a 100 for band, a 100 for keyboarding, and 90-something for French. No clue about US History, but he said no one failed. I have hope.
-I just saw my aunt Suzanne and her adorable little children Miranda (4) and Vivian (2?) and we had so much fun at the art museum 'cause they had this floral thing and the girls are just so freaking cute. Yeah.
Oh, and I'm changing my theme.
