Last year, to make things easier on myself, I made up a bunch of prompts for the event. These are the week 2 prompts
A: "My favorite ingredient!" Share a fic that incorporates a trope you love! Don't forget to tell us about what beloved trope (or genre, or character, or set-up, or other element) you incorporated! Optional: talk about more of your history with the trope (for example, why you love it, or a time you saw it done really well, or what it means to you.)
B: "Normally it's not for me, but..." Share a fic that you like that incorporates something you... don't always like! Maybe you're tepid on the jerk-with-a-heart-of-gold archetype but in one piece of media they had a character like that you super loved! Maybe you normally don't go in for fluff, but this one just works. You don't have to get too detailed about why you don't always like the thing (sometimes carrying on at length about Why X Sucks is not that much fun), but please feel free to share at length why you like the thing in this context!
C: Yodelayheehoo! Listen, we all have works that we think are just spiffy, but that for whatever reason didn't seem to take off with readers. Share one (or more!) of those works with us. We WANT to see it! Optional: Answer any, all, or none of the following questions: Why do you think this fic didn't really get as much reaction as some of your other works? Why do you love this fic/why is it significant to you? If you were to make this work again, would you do anything differently (and if so what)?
