Death is always on Penn’s mind, mainly due to his work. It’s not a negative for him though, simply a new path. 2.) Do they believe for every darkness there is a lightness? If not, why?
No. There are some dark moments in life that have no escape. There is no light in the death of his ex-wife. 3.) Name one thing about the way their emotions work that they despise.
Despite his career and his ability to hide his life, he falls in love too quickly and with all of him. 4.) Would they ever wish upon a falling star? If so, what would they wish?
Not after the death of his mom. 5.) Describe how they would spend a stormy, overcast/rainy day.
Penn loves the rain and storms. Whether comforting his daughter from a storm, or using it as a cover in work. “Bad weather” is powerful. 6.) What do they most value in themselves?
His role as a father. 7.) What about nature do they find calming? What about nature do they find disagreeable?

Depends on the emergency. But Stella always first. Annabeth and then Olive Fulton if it’s not work related. 9.) What is their typical response to being given orders?
Fuck you. Unless it’s Eden, obviously. 10.) Describe a thought or dream that would cause them to have a mental meltdown.
Losing Eden like he lost his ex-wife. 11.) Are there any reasons why they would ever think of self-harm? If so, what are they?
He drank himself into a stupor multiple times after leaving the army. Never in any other way. 12.) Describe a physical action that shows complete trust.

Working out, or making something in the workshop, or researching a target. Depends on how the mind is working. 17.) Anything about their health they are continuously on edge about? Something they disregard?

The smell of the lake, fishing with dad. 25.) Are there any inner demons they can never seem to get rid of? What are they?
Yes, his entire life after his mom died. His dad walking out, no-one in the family wanting him, not being enough, failing his best friend and losing him, failing his wife and losing her, getting her back just to watch her die, his career of violence.
