They’re a mage, however their magic behaves differently, instead of generating it via their DETERMINATION it they absorb it like a vampire via touch.
This has the downside of being a necessity, so if they don’t absorb any for a while they go into a hunger state in which they can lose control of it and their soul will try leeching off of anything. (for monsters since their entire being is made of magic, this can mean death.)

The beads r magic reactive and will glow teal when they’re usin their magic! They also can change colors.
Summoned weapon is a dagger, a bit small, but they attach a magic tether to it as well!
