Side by side the pair stood; their costumes for the night complete opposites. Where Byakuya appeared almost like a prince, Gundham looked as though he had stepped straight out of a gothic novel. Really, they looked as though they had absolutely nothing to do with one another despite the fact that they were at the same masquerade. And while they hadn’t exactly spoken much, or held any sort of conversation thus far, as soon as Gundham had mentioned the woman in question, the heir decided to speak up as well.
“Last year she wore the exact same thing, but in red. I don’t know what was worse, what she had on or the fact that she openly attempted to flirt with my father the entire night. She truly is a trashy individual.”
Gundham stands with arms crossed over his chest. He shifts on his feet, the movement making the long coat he is wearing sway a little. Eyes stay focused on the subject of his judgement before sliding towards Byakuya standing beside him. One can’t truly know what expression there is behind his mask since the breeder opted for one of those half face masks so his scar can still be visible, but it is definitely a mix of surprise and disgust.
“Truly? Hmph,” His gaze slides back to the crowd and he leans back against the wall, fingers tapping his irritation onto his arm. Quite a bit of him hates that he is here, even if the high class scene fascinates him, but his mother made some new friends she wishes to impress and it is basically impossible for him to refuse her when she demands something of him.
“One must assume her motives are petty. Such a disgusting creature.”
