"what are you gonna do? i think i'm leaning towards a vase." as much as they loved mugs, romeo was pretty sure that the apartment's cabinets couldn't hold another one. "that way i can put flowers in it from when i inevitably go to blooms and spend too much on bouquets for myself." they chuckle at that, squirting some paint from the selection that was laid out on the table in front of them onto their little plastic painter's palette. "don't let me accidentally clean off my paintbrush in my wine, because we both know i accidentally will if i'm not paying enough attention."

ari was a bit old school when it came to books. they preferred physical copies over e-readers. there was something holding a book in your hands and physically turning the pages that felt so good. they often stopped by the town's bookstore to pick up the next thing on their tbr. pausing at a display that boasted blind dates with a book, ari picks one up, reading the description written on the paper that wrapped the book inside. "this one boasts a quirky love story. could be cute. what do you think?"

did nico have a green thumb? absolutely not. he could barely keep himself alive, let alone a whole ass garden. which was why he figured he could start small with a houseplant, something easy that didn't require too much water or attention. which was why he was sitting with his brand new monstera, trying to focus on the person giving out information now to take care of it. "why do i feel like i should be taking notes?" nico half whispers, leaning in closer to the person sitting beside him. "i didn't realize this was gonna be a full on lecture."
