I promised myself I’d use the winter break to get ahead on prompt fills because I’d been pretty slow and non-productive these past few months, such that my usual buffer has dwindled significantly. Instead, I’m about 41k into a story that is still not done and doesn’t seem to want to end even though I am more than ready for that. the last one before that reached nearly 30k, all told. I wrote nearly 7k for an exchange prompt. none of this was what I intended to be writing.
