So earlier today I was looking through the Tropes Wiki- you know, like you do- and I saw this thing that said that not only did Rowling consider having Hermione's last name as Puckle, but also considered having her family live close to the Potters- to the point that Hermione's dad would have been the one to pull baby Harry out of the wreckage. So please consider: Harry being raised by Hermione's family instead of the Dursleys. You're welcome 😊
