I was wondering if i could adopt a bittybones King, preferably someone who had lost his self steem and could need my personal coaches (Sir Wilbur and Sir Walter) to feel whole again. I would love to give another good noodle the light that never should have left their eyes.
*Vex gives you a call late one evening. It seems that there has been a rescue operation recently. People have been forcibly extracting lamia venom to sell on the black market as some type of drug. After the raid, the lamias, most of whom were kidnapped from loving homes, were returned to their owners. One of them appears to have been captured from the wild though and will need a home and some rehabilitation.
*He’s a King lamia, miniature sized, but he’s a bit large for a miniature. I’m not sure if they gave him a supplement to make him grow or he’s just a large little guy. He’s also missing a fang. We made a replacement for him out of silver, but it’s still very tender. He will need to be handfed, and he’s quite underweight unlike your previous rescues. He also can’t read or speak. I honestly thought he might be happier joining the feral colony, but he seems to still like human company despite all that he’s been through.
*The Nurse Papythons are “translating” my words into hisses for him, and he’s giving tired little nods. I think he would like to join your family and have an actual home where he can be appreciated for who he is and not what people can gain from him. Hopefully Sir Wilbur the Papython and Sir Walter the Pygmy can help him learn to be a proper King, proud and noble instead of the exhausted, bedraggled noodle he is now.
